Janna needs CHANGE
Serioulsy dont even bother to comment or have an opinion IF YOU DONT READ THE WHOLE POST. I touch up on alot of points so with your shitty comment i've already answered it here most likely!
tl;dr i guess what i want out of this is quality of life changes, mechanic changes so she can have more power, reliable and less clunky spells.
Knowledge on a subject doesnt only come from skill. but intelligence comes from passion about the subject. And im quite passionate about Janna so i feel like i know what I'm talking about even though it is my opinion and i hope you support my freedom of speech and willingness to find people who think alike.
Janna, a squishy utility mage, nothing but a thin shell of her former self. Constant nerf after nerf to every stat. I'm gonna say it now, I play janna building ap items. I've been building her like this for like 6 years so please keep your biased meta comments away from me. She scales with ap.(very poorly) Her slow is increased with more ap, Her zephyr speed is increased with ap, her shield is increased with ap, her shield damage is increased with ap, her healing on ult is increased with ap.
Being around since league of legends was released, I've seen: -her movespeed get reduced -her auto attack range reduced -the shield value nerfed -the shield duration nerfed -ap scaling on all of her spells nerfed -base numbers on all her spells nerfed -knockback on ult reduced -healing per second reduced on ult -tornado width reduced -tornado instant cast range reduced (even letting it build up has a slight reduced range) -base hp reduced -ad from shield reduced -ult cant knock enemies through wall anymore so youre stuck channeling a lackluster heal beside enemies in some situations -cast range on her zephyr was reduced too (not too sure about this one) -I might be wrong on this one but i think janna didnt lose the passive on zephyr after casting on enemy before -The slow on her ult knockback was removed as well!!! -knock up duration nerfed

Champions like blitzcrank or thresh that have high damage scaling, disengage, engage, and tankiness.
What does janna have over tank damage supports? auto attack range wow!!!! a shield to block one auto attack in lane wow!!!! a poor heal over time while being completely vulnerable as you channel so enemies can just use one of their 10 dash's to get on top of you. WOOWWW
We have champions like Xin Zhao, that have alternate build paths like building ap and carrying with it. Why cant janna be useful if she builds ap? her scaling prevents that playstyle.
Why is it that Janna's damage was completely gutted so now she's only played as a ward bot with an extremely passive playstyle. Is it because maybe she was good at what she did and we cant have that now can we! its not fun to watch in lcs!!!!!
Playing janna or support in general isnt fun for me anymore, and i LOVE support roles. Janna isnt rewarding AT ALL. Setting up a kill for ur team only to have them ignore it and pussy out walk away, Having champions FLASH out of your ult as you try to heal them with a crappy heal over time, Having allies run away from you as you try to run up to shield them.
face it. Janna is clunky and needs quality of life changes. NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL YOU THINK JANNA IS RIGHT NOW, SHE NEEDS QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES. even though a janna ran up to you and slowed you as her team killed you. that doesnt mean janna is in a good place.
Personally I HATE seeing people who dont even play her put her on a pedestal and praise her. she is easily outplayed by any other support. Janna needs her team to do anything at all and she's the only champion who is like that.
While in game, enemies are RIGHT up janna's arse, she is extremely squishy and dies in a few hits. like serioulsy if you play janna or squishy utility support enemies are going to DROOL all over your ass and hardcore focus you before every teamfight. thats a problem, causing you to try and save yourself with your shield or ult while you have to save it for your team's use.
her low defense is balanced around her having a shield and heal/knockback while she has to use it in teamfights in order to be useful at all.
I know what im talking about with her, ive been playing her for YEARS. Imagine your tanky dps character's build path to success was gutted and you had to play passive and let your team do everything. not fun right?!
range increase on zephyr, ult knockback increased back to viability?
right now all it is used for is the knockback. and riot nerfs the ap scaling, lowering the heal MORE after they stated that heals over time are not healthy for the game since they are lackluster. janna has to usually flash into place and ult if she wants to save a carry who most likely will die in one hit.
when you channel her ult youre so vulnerable and a huge target for the enemy team to one shot you.
quality of life changes like targeted ult with a teleport to ally, but when not targeted on anyone still self casts.
maybe give janna invulnerability as she channels ult? maybe give her a combo with her tornado and zephyr, like zephyr marks the enemy and tornado follows them and curves toward their direction as they try to dodge.
She feels really clunky when youre laning and harass with zephyr, you walk back to safety super slow and you get stuck on minions since the range is so low and she loses the ability to walk through units. plus her auto attack animation is clunky
