Mastering this so called combo is gonna be hard.

So I was watching Akali video's just for fun, I am an Akali main(Cancer) I know. Anyways I stumbled upon this combo video and thought what the heck might as well see if there's something I didn't know and sure enough there is. Turns out its extremely hard to pull off though until you get the hang of it. Anyways if you Q, wait then Q again literally right before you ult to a target and proc the first mark, the second one you threw out will hit that target like .2-.3 seconds later and it's kind of like a double proc technique that you don't even need E for.

Ult doesn't proc Q anymore, though

you don't need to throw Q befor ult though, the time between the two procs is gated by your AS anyway. at lvl 6, your Q should be rank 3, so it's on 5 sec cd while the mark lasts 6sec, so you can simply Q, wait 5sec, ult-aa-q-aa-e and have two mark procs in your combo. way easier that maxrange q-r-aa-aa, and if your used to animation caneling it doesn't even have any noticable disadvantage if you use Q after ult-aa.

It actually is a lot easier (but less effective) to do now because nothing will proc q except for autoattacks, making the whole combo a lot slower. You are right thought that trying to get 2 procs in succession quickly is the best way to fight.

Nashor's on Akali doesn't sound like a rewarding purchase at all You don't need extra attack speed to make that combo happen, it's pretty easy

I've known about that combo for a while and can do it somewhat reliably but most of the time I don't bother.

It doesn't improve combo speed significantly over Q-R-AA-Q-AA and it reduces your ability to combo into shroud, which is super valuable since stealth got buffed significantly. Also there's the disadvantage of the combo being super unforgiving. If you miss it you lose the Q proc damage and 60 energy.

Irelia Carries U told me about something like this trading combo of using Mark of the Assassin on the enemy and then waiting for it to be about off cooldown before ulting to the target for then being able to use Mark of the Assassin again after an auto for a second proc of Mark of the Assassin. IT was also easier to pull off this combo when Crescent Slash proced the secondary damage of Mark of the Assassin. There are videos of Crescent Slash being used to proc a second one but not seeing any of this "stacking" Mark of the Assassin.

However I have not heard about Mark of the Assassin being able to stack on a target but if it is able to work that would be an interesting "bug" along the lines of when riven could first easily wall hop that riot could expand on akali. (FYI she could wall hope in season 2 it was extremely hard to do and limited to something like 2 walls but I was shown it in season 3 before riven wall hoping was added with some changes in the movement system.)

A combo like this does 2 things to the enemy though. Allows for more damage in a trade should a trade happen, allows for some zoning of an enemy because no one wants to have akali proc the second part of Q expecially twice at the same time. add in a sheen or it's upgrade options and this could easily take 70% of a target s health.

Would also be nice to see this combo in action.
