This...Is honestly very annoying and I think I speak on the behalf of the people who wrote in response to your post and gave very good reasons to why we thought your post was absolute nonsense.

  • Mordekaiser is only played by his mains, and despite most morde mains having thousands of games (most morde mains in plat+ indeed have 1 million+ mastery) and yet can still only break EVEN in winrates.

  • His W passive is a part of his Kit that impacts nothing about how he plays and has nothing to offer in terms of playing around it and sucks up power that could be used elsewhere in his kit, even trading it for some measely 10 movement speed or Armor would be a worthy trade, and im sure every morde main would agree to this as well.

  • His buildpath has been destroyed, nerfed, and removed since season 7, no more ludens + deathfire, rylais was nerfed and then pushed in the wrong direction with the 10 AP buff, the fact that Banshees doesnt build out of negatron cloak and abyssal mask replaced abyssal scepter means he has no efficient way to build defensively vs AP, and SPEAKING OF HIS BUILDS, he has dare i say the most LINEAR path next to URGOT, Rylais Liandries Shurelyas Zhonyas Void every game all game. There is perhaps a change in boots or a ZZ rot thrown in over Zhonyas but otherwise everything is as good as stone.

  • Bugs. Nightwind has enough of a party with these, I dont need to say more.

  • He has no Keystone, aery might as well be a placeholder to promote a passive W the carry playstyle after cancer shoving mid by rushing resitances and mindlessly shoving waves until you get dragon, no fun and no interaction.

We as a whole feel morde has lost way too much power since the last season and the compensation he was to receive for the new season was no keystone and bare minimum for base stats, and you say he isnt weak, despite all these things. Get your fucking eyes off of Ahri's chest for a moment to realize there are more then 15 champions in this game.

If I had to guess I think there is some sense of embarrassment around Mordekaiser's current state. Any changes made would draw attention to him and then more of the community would see all of his problems.

I don't think the community knows or really would care about his bugs, but the fact that riot can take a champ from people, comopletely flip him on his head from everything but his thematic, realize they overtuned it and gut it just to leave it to rot rather than revert, its bad business practice and one that a multi-million dollar company should not make.

Morde is the black sheep of the family, and honestly its disgusting to see Ryze getting his, what fourth now, rework, and yet morde is left in this half-finished state that was basically them removing his best traits, and keeping his worst. I think i speak for many players when i say that Nunu is indeed in a better spot than Mordekaiser, which dont get me wrong, I'm glad that Nunu is finally getting a rework, Mordekaiser needs one far more. If you need inspiration for a rework, just look at the forums, I recall an amazing one where nightfall was a summoned object, sounds pretty fucking metal to me, look at your options Riot, because we NEED you to at least confirm you're working on him!

I'm fairly sure they have his model for his VGU already made and just don't know wtf to do with his kit, at least Nunu can secure objectives in an objective based meta, Morde has to piggy back off his jungler after denying his laner any interaction to do what he needs to do to win games, and its boring, its not fun to sit around and W'ing minions the entire lane and spamming E if the enemy gets close enough, theres no drive to fix him or make him interesting until the meta shifts or his rework in 2020.
