Urgot

So i have always loved urgot but do to being forced to play top in a recent game i hit random and landed on him and just loved it i was eating every one. I have 2 key ideas: Change his: Terror Capacitor (W): Its his only ability that works on AP and that makes no sense. Should be based on something else i think HP or armor/MR. I also think this needs something else to it to go with his kit i like the idea of him having a reveal enemy affect to any one you hit while its active. As well as a improved slow

Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser (R): I want to make his ult feel more game changing then just putting him in bad spots relying on allies to bail him out. So i suggest we make urgots ult stuns the enemy for 1.5 sec (that's .5 more then the existing channel)and apply a homing for his Q. while the enemy is stunned urgot may hit R again to switch with them. if he does not press R again then after 1.5 seconds then his ult goes on cool down

Example of new R You could use this for escape and attack this way by locking down a enemy over a wall killing some one that is not the locked target then the switch would flip him over the wall. Then of course to attack you just lock them up and Q them to death.

These change's would give him kill conviction that just having the 2 damaging abilitys dont give. It is always painful to watch a 200hp champ slip into the safety of there turret while you lock on has worn off. lets post our ideas here to show riot we still love our cyborg friend. Other ideas that help give him kill conviction that i dont believe as important are: 1)raise his AA range to like 450 (currently at 425) 2) add a indicator as to which direction locked on champs are 3) have his shield run on AD the reason this down here is i think we want urg to stay tank no go adc again 4)improve his passive damage reduction from 15% to 20% 5)have his Q so that if he hits like 3 times it does a extra amount off dmg like half of his q dmg (so his 3rd Q would do dmg and a half 6) make his shield boom like sion or old karmas 7) make his shield explode dealing a small amount of damage and applying his passive to all ^--i like that one 8) make bring the cc that come from his W and put them on his E (idea from "COWMANOFCOWS") 9) Raise the damage on hiis Q to 88% (up 3%)

EDIT: i reorganized page and changed the ult to be more fair and not broken. I also got ride of one of my spit ball ideas and added another one

Urgot isn't an ADC He's a range bruiser!

Him being played as an ADC is the problem. He does need some buffs, but he doesn't do the same job than an ADC.

He needs an update, but I think you're taking it to the wrong dirrection.

Another possible option is redo his R like Nidalee Elise

Just gives a set of new toys. Maybe even a melee mode. You could still work some magic to even keep the reverser.

What if we made his E & Q when combined what if it AOE slowed. It already had a animation that would make since for that

His shield needs some kind of scaling besides the throwaway AP (Every other shield I can think of scales with something the champion wants to buy) so it doesn't die in one hit, and his role needs solidifying (He has range, and Riot says he's a Marksman, but the OTHER half of his kit wants him to be a tank/bruiser; it's old Sion all over again).

That ult feels like it should be on a tank (something with lockdown), so he can initiate by swapping into the enemy team and stranding an enemy, but the rest of his kit cannot possibly support that. It may be iconic, but I could definitely see the ult getting scrapped and released on someone else (Acid Seekers are more iconic, imo).

His passive is another one of those "boring, invisible power" things Riot hates (you don't generally see when things do less damage), but seeing that they didn't remove Sona's damage debuff, it's probably okay.

All these things you want done would just make him op just to change his ult then buff him a lot will not work. Urgot is already very strong although i do agree his kit does need to change i like that with Urgot u have the versatility to play almost anywhere top/bot/mid/adc. What Urgot needs is a similar kit but one that fits the current meta (ditch the shield and make it a taunt or something and then replace his ult with a gap closer giving him great initiation). This would make him a top lanner with great harass. Or a jungler with very effective ganks. If you like Urgot as an adc or mid lanner ditch the shield and give him either an escape or a better slow of some kind (or both similar to caits w).

how about, make his ult gives him same armor and MS, 30% of his AD, and 20% spellvamp, 20% movement speed and incrsease the duration to say, to 10 seconds, using R again (a one time use) stuns the Target for 1 second Make his E apply his Passive to all enemies affected and make it Scale off AD, NOT Bonus AD. Make the shield gets 1 second reduced for each Q hit, or Basic attack hit. and you'll find that's Really all that urgot needs.

his Passive is realyl debatable, i mean if you're playing urgot effectevly, then you really don't need to reduce their damage output, considering you'll be harassing them the entire laning phase, but i guess his passive does give him the Tankish feel he's supposed to feel.

Very simple suggestion:

  • slightly bigger mana pool.
  • stats of a melee bruiser
  • autoattack range becomes a passive. Now you have a poking tank.
