Like honest question, at level 3 with just a dorans ring his W or E whatever reset his auto attack hit me for 300, which is more than an ultimate. the damage caught me so off guard he snowballed and i couldn't do anything the whole game, at one point he hit me for 1k with just his W...

why is this getting downvoted just wanna know what to do against a fizz since he changed.

Not being bad and knowing how to play lane is a good option, as his lane is very weak, and his late game is bad now too.

i was playing lux (for the new skin but i do have mastery 4 on her ;;) and i harassed him down really bad before he hit level 2 and i backed off out of fear of a gank, but once he hit 3 he just all in'd me and killed me almost instantly from 90% heatlh. Not sure what else i could've done =\

If you're playing champs like Lux or TF you have to freeze near your tower. He's melee and can't do anything to you there at all and it allows your jungler to gank more effectively.

What the guy said above me, never shove the wave against fizz as immobile mage, if you are near tower he cannot trade or all in you at all since he'll be in tower range (and this fizz has to wait 2s to get the W damage AFTER going in melee).

Harass him hard early while freezing near tower he cannot do anything to do at all in that situation, and if you want to be even more evil take flash exhaust, then fizz literally cannot kill you ever unless you do a mistake (and you outscale him).

Firstly, you COULD push your lane really hard, which allows you to harass Fizz AND make him miss cs under tower. He can't farm under tower without getting harassed or using his mana. The downside is of course, he can all in or call for ganks, which is up to you to avoid.

Secondly, you COULD get 2 points into shield, which will let you survive Fizz's all in. He simply won't be able to 100-0. Cheesy but doable.

Thirdly, you can call for a gank and bait Fizz to all in (use a spell to make him use playful/trickster, then jungle comes to rape him).

Fourth, you could rush a ruby crystal or null-magic mantle (or a negatron cloak) on first back, which will also let you survive his all in. How do you decide which to buy? Ruby = if enemy jungle is AD. Mantle = enemy jungle is also AP. Even if you don't use it for a build, you can simply sell it later. You are paying little gold to reduce the risk of dying in lane.

Fifth, you can SAVE SPELLS. Fizz can kite your spells with 3 things. Playful/trickster, urchin strike, and flash. Let's not think about flash because you can just flash to tower. He will most likely engage with urchin strike (or ultimate) after you use one of your spells. He also has to use playful/trickster to dodge your spells. Just put down E on yourself. Save Q until he uses playful/trickster, then you can use Q to bind him and shoot lazer in his face.

Sixth, lux doesn't have to cross past the river. E to farm. If lane is pushed and you are scared, just use E or even ult to reset wave.

Also, you can do a double doran build, which allows you to control mana, and have more HP. Makes you stronger early. Good for your laning and lowering the risk of dying to his all in.

Lastly, don't let him jump you at level 3. Now you know he can kill you, so just back off. THIS ALSO MEANS DON'T PUSH YOU WAVE AT LEVEL 1~2. Because you will be denied farm close to level 3. Miss the first few cs if that's what you need to do to let the wave push towards you. Any auto attacks to Fizz will push your wave. Your E will push as well. Missing a few cs early is nothing.

I probably missed a few thing I could talk about but I don't really play Fizz so I can't cover everything. Just realize that you have options and do what you prefer.

Pushing lane and harassing a Fizz is a bad option, even early game, leaving you open to ganks and his disgusting all in potential. Freezing the lane is the best option and denies all of his pressure.

Well you can't just assume that you can freeze your lane all the time.

Pushing is obviously situational but I threw it out there just so that he can think about the dynamics of the champion picks and USE the advantage. If you jungler is lee sin and the enemy jungler is warwick, you do have the choice to push because fizz will be scared to jump on her.

"lane very weak"

Fizz has one of the best level 3 all-ins in the game.

You can't just ask how to play against a champion without even telling us which champion you would be playing. Otherwise I can only say open your eyes, click and press keys.

Generally you want to freeze near your tower so he can't do anything to you. Once a fizz pushes you have to control the wave and he can't touch you. It's much easier said than done though.

Just keep your distance, expect him to use his E and get away from it. Generally the first few E's he does are not as mobile as like mid to late game, but just predict and know when he might try to E and once he lands, you eff him up.

He's simple. Always be on the move when he hits 6 so you don't get ulted easily. Build MR like rush abyssal or spirit visage, just build MR against him, if you're AD mid, then build hexdrinker, edge of night etc...... I shouldn't have to explain this.

Also pick champions that counter him.

His W does triple damage when his stack is fully charged. Try to disengage if you have it up. Without it, he does close to no damage.

You take a runepage that didn't sacrifice MR for CDR or AP. He's prolly gonna trollpole your combo anyways. You need to slowly poke and aa him down. Till he becomes desperate for an all-in. Then you pop Barrier and kill him when he does. Make sure to not get near unless everything is off cooldown. (because you are gonna need secondary spells when he jukes the first)

Secondly, take Barrier.
