@Meddler Lifesteal, Spell Vamp, Grievous Wounds and Crit
The true problem with League of Legends would come mostly in these four aspects. It's been talked about a lot, but I think all four of these need to be addressed.
Lifesteal is too prominent in the game as it stands. Due to it being so overbearing, you need items like Grievous Wounds to counteract it. However, what this does is create more unhealthy balance options for particular champs that rely on spell vamp:
Adcs are literally drain tanking fights, which is completely unhealthy for the game. I'm an adc main myself, and I can't say that I'm not guilty of lifestealing to hell and back in the middle of fights. Moving on, critical strike is also a problem balance wise.
Critical strike is very problematic for few reasons. Instead of providing what should be sustained DPS, its adding burst to those very sustained DPS champs. The crit introduction worked beautifully for Ashe's theme and I think it should be done for almost all champs that rely on the interaction. Instead of adding straight up damage, maybe it should interact in a special way for every adc and melee crit abuser.
Now, I wish I could make a super thorough, well informed thread about possible changes, however, I don't have the extensible knowledge nor research to back up any claims I'd make. All I want to know is:
@Meddler,Riot or anyone whose working on the game balance state:
Is there any plans on reworking these 4 things in particular?
