After losing 1 promo game still at 100+ lp after losing 2nd promo game, at 73 lp???

I have been gaining around 23-26 lp and losing 13-15 lp with a 70% win rate, and what happened was I was at 73 lp and won a game got +25 lp so now im at 98 lp, then i win another game, so now I'm in promos with 100 lp, then I lose game 1 of promos, but my lp is still at 100, then i lose my 2nd game of promos and my lp goes down to 73 lp!???

Your LP indicator stays at 100 for the duration of your promos. If you lose your promos, your LP is updated accordingly.

This is likely because it would be confusing to see someone with 80 LP in their promos.
