Rammus with 400+ armor was doing less reflect damage with new thornmail than rammus with 200 armor and old thornmail. Isnt this suppose to be higher?
600 armor requirement to actually be viable is bullshit. Considering that item was solely used for countering basic attacks on very few champions and now it cant even do that (not even close).
The new armor scales less with the enemy damage but does extra while stacking armor, but it's doubtful that it would do more now unless the enemy had low damage and you had tons of armor. went from 30 percent to 15. so if they do 1000 you lost 150 damage. the armor i think scales on .25 so you would need 600 armor to make up for the damage in that case.
Yea because I mean with the tank meta....it takes forever to kill a tank. So imaging an adc taking 30% damage back while the tank is just laughing. 15% is reasonable however the item should probably cost even less considering the damage it lost.
The new armor changes suck. I main Garen, between all the true damage and the % hps and blade of the ruined king, i have just about given up on armor. and hps. Trying to build tank sucks now when you do next to no damage and only last a second longer than the squishies.
As a Rammus main this change was really sadning. Now your'e better off just building the new insanely overpowered 
and relying even more on the rest of your team to follow up with real damage.
New thormail does less damage to champs that build raw AD but it completely dumpsters Master Yi who has relatively low AD but a lot of AS to take more of the thorns damage. Not saying Thornmail got better or worse but it is really only good against AS stackers like Kalista and Yi. Niche pick and nothing else.
The new thornmail primarily just kicks sated out the door. too bad NOBODY FIN BUILDS IT.
