Why Are There No Spell Vamp Items?
Other than
, I dont think there are any other spell vamp items. Why arent there many?

... basically anyone who was a manaless spellcaster.
back in season 2,
were the reason spellvamp got gutted and left garbage until it was removed
morde and akali weren't strong (except akali in low elo solo queue)
that's what happens when you don't give mana to spellcasters
"Spellvamp is toxic! When a mage gets caught out of position and takes damage in a teamfight, and then heals up between fights... how unbearably broken! Forget the fact that ADCs do just that 15 times better."
Really though, it was only bought by a handful of champions and created lots of balance problems. So instead of bothering to work around it they removed the items and gave champions that bought it better built in healing.
Really really though, it's another double standard of Riot's. We have so many AD champs that are actual gods because of lifesteal, yet we nerf and then rework Vlad and Morde because their healing + damage was "toxic" and they were "little more than walking balls of stats". They "either automatically won or did nothing."
Yet all the reasons Riot claimed to have removed spellvamp can be applied to just about any AS AD champ. But it's okay, because ADCs are the most profitable class.
If lifesteal was only bought by 1 or 2 ADCs it would get removed too. Why complain about removal of spellvamp as though Vlad and Morde aren't healing enough already.
Because the same reasons they removed spellvamp apply to ADCs and lifesteal, yet lifesteal is still in the game and being buffed every patch for no good fucking reason.
And I'm tired of ADCs being the strongest champs in the game. Least effort, greatest reward.
Isn't the hextech gunblade technically a spellvamp item as it heals for like 15% the damage you do?
Nothing "technically" about it. Gunblade does in fact have both 15% Spellvamp and 15% Lifesteal, just like it always has had both. Just without the keywords being tagged onto it like they should be, like they used to be.
(for all damages)
(for physical damages including physical spells)
Ah, so lets say i play jayce. Does that mean if I take all spell vamp runes/masteries, and built (with maw activated)
, then i would have about 66.24 spell vamp?
I'd have to do the math, but I think it would be somewhat close to that. Very troll build though and wouldn't have THAT much damage.
They removed them in the mage update because they were very unhealthy and made it hard to balance champs with spell vamp in their kits.

Spell Vamp as a purchasable stat just didn't work.
It was too niche for some champions and they were balanced around it. That wasn't healthy for the game.

Still has Spellvamp
Has half-Spellvamp
Has half-Spellvamp
Is Omni-Vamp, not Spell Vamp
Is Phys-Vamp, not Spell Vamp
Is Phys-Vamp, not Spell Vamp.
Omni is all the damage you deal to enemies factors into you healing. Physical Vamp is only for Physical damage (Autos and Phys damaging Abilities).
There hasn't been a Spell Vamp item since we lost my bestest friend, WotA.
I will miss you, maximum life drain Teemo. Your soaring journey brought you too close to the sun, and hubris was your undoing.
Spell-Vamp heals from ALL ABILITIES. True damage, magic damage **AND **physical damage. Lifesteal heals from basic attacks, including magic-damage basic attacks like Corki.
Spellvamp and Lifesteal do **NOT **refer to the type of damage that you are doing. They refer to HOW you are doing that damage. Spellvamp used to heal from summoner spells, hence why Lee Sin would re-cast W before casting Smite, a true damage ability, until they removed that interaction. Ahri's original Spellvamp passive healed her for the true damage she dealt.
Thusly, Gunblade still has Spellvamp, not some "omni-vamp" bullshit that player X imagined out of thin air. Yes the other two have "physical vamp," but I already stated it was "half-vamp." Same fucking difference.
Riot removed the others
What were the others? Just wondering
Will of the Ancients (A removed item), and Hextech revolver used to have spell vamp as a stat on them
Remember when WotA gave a spell vamp aura for your whole team? Good times.
Remember when WotA gave a spell vamp aura for your whole team? Dark times.
FTFY.
Runes and masteries
Spellvamp was bought on 2 champions, ever.
They changed it to omnivamp and gave champs like Vlad, who essentially needed it, suistain in their kit so they wouldn't need that terrible stat.
Yeah rito plz make some spell vamp items so u can buy more than 15% spellvamp
