AS boost on Ezreal's Essence Flux
I don't think the AS boost effect on Ezreal's W is very cohesive with his kit. It doesn't really seem to fit with his kit or his play style. If he's going adc then he's the only one that really needs the AS boost, but it doesn't apply unless you burn your E at the same time (which really isn't worth it in any scenario). Even if you're AP ezreal, you would be using your W to put out damage, not to give your adc a buff. The only time I ever find it useful is when taking turrets, dragon or baron as a team, I can give everyone else a little extra damage (but again, they're not the ones that need it unless I'm AP).
So sure there's some benefit, but it's extremely situational. It would make more sense if it automatically applied to himself on hit (and maybe reduce the amount to balance that out), or if it applied some other effect. A couple ideas: hitting an enemy champion could mark the target for a certain amount of time. Ezreal could get a speed buff when moving towards or while nearby that target or an AS buff while attacking that target. Or the mark could have an effect that triggers if the target is hit by mystic shot. I really like the unique feel that Ezreal has in the game as a sort of burst-y duelist that ramps up damage over time when he can land his skill shots successfully, and I think something like that would add a lot to his kit to fit his style better than being able to give other team members an AS boost.
Something like this maybe:
If Essence Flux hits an enemy champion, that champion will be marked for six seconds. If Ezreal hits a marked champion with Mystic shot, the mark triggers, dealing 15/25/35/45/55 bonus damage and granting Ezreal 20% additional movement speed while remaining nearby the enemy champion for up to 5 seconds. The movement speed bonus will end if Ezreal moves too far away from the target. [damage for essence flux could be reduced slightly to compensate]
I think that this would reward players that can successfully land Ezreal's full combo, make his W useful early game as adc (It really is just not strong enough of poke at early levels to be worth the mana cost), and would give him more maneuverability options if he wants to use his E aggressively.
Anyone else agree or have any different ideas?
