Random Thoughts on Kha'Zix

Q - Isolation range slightly increased. Evolved - Isolation range from passive is now reduced on slowed enemies. Increased effectiveness when slowed by own abilities.

W - Slow reduced to a 1.5s duration Evovled - No longer spreads the spikes. instead can now store up to 3 charges that can be used on a 3s cooldown. Repeated attacks within 5 seconds deal 75% reduced damage. Can be used while leaping.

E - Damage removed. Mana cost removed. Evolved - Upon landing, now creates a small cloud of smoke for .5 seconds, disrupting all isolation ranges within. (Land between targets to get a quick isolated Q in.)

R - Unchanged Evolved - Using R leaves a cloud of smoke for .5 seconds, disrupting all isolation ranges within. (Smaller radius than E.)

What this does is allow him to control his isolation more. He has tools to disrupt this isolation. Although he lost damage on his E, that should easily be made up from stronger Q's.

I don't really want to see a full kit rework on kha'zix, but I absolutely love the evolved q idea so long as shortened isolation is less then current range.

I think the biggest problem Riot has with balancing him is that his kit can fill too many jobs. So if one fits the meta too well it gets nerfed, effecting his ability to preform other rolls. Although since he doesn't have damage reduction on his R anymore that could no longer be an issue.

This mostly defines him as an assassin. I think the key is making isolation something he manages, instead of something he gets a bonus from.

The idea of the Q is that it'll normally be slightly larger than current. Slows will bring it to live values, maybe slightly lower. Slows form Kha'Zix will reduce this further. Meaning landing his W or R will be important to his damage. Depending on balance would decide if this would include non-ability slows such as red buff or smite. They may make it too strong removing his need to actually manage his isolation. Especially in the early game when he'd have red buff. He doesn't really need an early game buff.
