It Would Be Cool If The Unsealed Spellbook Switch Could Be Channeled The Same Way Ornn Forges Items.

So I was theorycrafting a pretty neat Yi build.

You basically take Unsealed Spellbook and Future's Market and fullclear. When you are done with the full clear, drop green smite wards in the enemy jungle and sweep a bit, then back and repeat.

At the point where you have finished your green smite Bloodrazor, you switch out your smite for teleport ( which you should get really early because you farmed so much and you have Future's Market ).

Now you do what you have been doing anyway for all this time now, which is permaclearing. The difference being though, that you can pretty much just automatically counter anything that the enemy jungler attempts aswell as tracking his pathing with your green smite wards.

In the lategame, you become a really annoying splitpusher. Not only can you TP into fights if needed, ( on a reduced CD no less ), you also can splitpush relatively safely because you have so much vision control.

Sounds pretty awesome right? But there is one problem with this strategy - you have no smite.

Sure, theoretically you could back, switch out your flash with smite and then TP to the epic monster you have to steal or secure but not only does that take a lot of time, it also requires you to have both your Summoners up which just feels kinda bad.

When thinking about ways on how to change it Ornn came into my mind. Why not change it so it's similar to his forging passive?

So instead of having to "buy" your new Summoners in the Shop, you could simply channel it anywhere on the map by holding the Summoner Switch button down for 4 seconds while out of combat, with the channel getting interrupted if you take damage.

This way it would still require some planning ahead and it wouldn't be OP because you still couldn't just switch out your Summoners mid-fight.

Imagine the Yi build mentioned above again. If you were going to go for Baron for example, you could simply channel in a safe spot for 4 seconds and get your smite to secure it.

It would have some other uses aswell. Imagine a super aggressive toplaner, let's say Pantheon, that runs ignite to dominate lane. The enemy has been passive for a while so you haven't been using it. Suddenly the enemy laner TPs into a bot fight and is about to turn it. You channel your Summoner Specialist for 4 seconds and switch Ignite out with TP so you can TP after him. Sure, you would be late to the fight, but you would be there at least.

Finally it would also make Unsealed Spellbook feel more proactive, make it feel more like you are actively making something happen like all the other keystones instead of it just being kind of there.

Thoughts?

If you start smite you can buy a jungle item, that's it. It doesn't matter when you switch to tp, I tested.

I also considered that keystone on Yi. If baron and elder are down you can run tp flash, ghost flash. Being able to swap a ss for tp could be clutch, like to join a fight or backdoor.
