Yasuo is more based around (CS) and proper team compositions he is good if your other players are good or at least decent as well me and some good skilled Yasuo players have carried games before that would have been a loss if it wasn't for them take for example having a toxic bot lane and top lane following up raging but because my mid laner wasn't toxic i just farmed up helped him in some fights and we started winning the game funny thing is that when you start winning a game from losing players stop being toxic usually even if you did something non meta.

I like Yasuo, I just don't like playing him because he just doesn't fit the way I would play.

Ideally you don't have to enter the fight on your own. If at all possible, it's much better to go in off of someone else's knockup. Also, be sure to block critical CC abilities with Wind Wall.

All melee carries need to wait for an opening before going into a fight. Usually when the tank initiates. Also Yasuo is best played when someone else on your team has a reliable knockup since his is super easy to dodge.

Try asking XiaoWeiXiao, he's played Yasuo a lot in the LCS.

Oh wait, every time he does he farms like crazy and dies a lot, so long as he's not playing against Coast (1-15 record at the moment).

i main nidalee and i can beat almost any yasuo player who does not who how to proc his knockup on his dash. i think people forget they can do that and they always throw out the tornado which can be easily dodged. procing the knockup on a dash extremly hard to dodge is what always gets me killed when facing him. but only about 1 in every 10 yasuo players i face does it.. so i end up beating the other 9
