I don't get the hate to the new champ select.

I hear people talking about hour wait times and stuff. that might be happening to you, I don't know. But I've yet to have to wait more then 45 seconds to find a match.

The games I've played, people generally just seem nicer to each other. because we can see the possible team comp, we can discuss possible choices. like if we don't have a tank or engage, we can know address that.

The only issue i have, if you want to call it one. Is that if my secondary is Supp, might as well have your primary as Supp also. Cause your playing Support. except the one time i put supp as my primary, and i ended up playing top....

i totally agree. I've been trying to play yas in the new champ select all night, but he keeps getting banned then i get stuck with a role that i would rather not play without yas.

I chose to not use teambuilder at all because I do not like it. Now team builder is forced, even worse so forced on ranked queue.

to ahem fix your comment, the team builder mode was never forced like this new champion select is, it was either teambuilder, normal blind or one of the drafts, now its blind or draft. not much choice

I have been waiting for almost 45 mins, been in and out of 11 or 12 games, I've lost count. #NOTAFAN

People will always exaggerate things although I'm sure there are issues with the current selection process. I'm sure it will get better with time.

The only reason I hate it is because it didn't work. At all. As in I was in queue for nearly an hour before it was disabled entirely. I theory, I like the design. I'd like it a lot more if I could have actually experienced it.

Isn't that the truth. That was the only real drawback for Team Builder, too. If you're looking for a support, good luck finding one in a timely manner. I'm a support main, so I don't particularly care, but it was an issue.

Honestly, I used Teambuilder almost exclusively for support. (sometimes Jg or ADC) And that was just because I could get into a game almost instantly.

If I wanted to play something else, I'd just go into draft cause that was easier than playing any other role in Teambuilder.
