At the end of the day you can just mute the carry, and get free LP. While it might be more comfy to have a friendly feeder, I'd rather just take the LP.

A nice feeder. I can teach them and shepherd them and use them as bait or whatever. I can coordinate with them, as bad as they are.
The toxic carry may win the game, but they may just as well fail to end it quickly enough, and once we're in late game, one critical mistake can throw the game, even with a fed carry.
I don't like to bet, and I'm confident I can carry myself via macro-plays, so give me the nice team-mate, no matter their skill level.
