What is riots current opinion on the state of Cho'Gath?

As a longtime cho player i feel like he is in a fairly bad spot right now. Especially with the last change to his w (now having a delay) it feels as tho cho has no way to consistently hit damage during lane. and hitting the silence on any kind of diving champion becomes almost impossible as any slight movement through cho makes it just miss. The animation feels very slow and makes cho feel even clunkier then before the changes to his w.
