This confuses me as if it is based on msi then NA would have their third seed in the second group. If it was based off of last worlds then EU would be over china... is there an official reason why china is over na in group seeding as i haven't seen anything on this topic.
They did place first in the MSI group stage, that might be the reason ,not sure though.
Just because that's how it got set up when Worlds first became a thing (I think). They're starting to make adjustments to how the Pools work and this will hopefully be the next step (perhaps even deciding who should be getting 3 seeds and 2 seeds later on). It used to be that the LMS used to have both seeds in Pool 2, but then they made MSI matter a little bit more, so maybe next season they'll bump up the two regions who get teams into the MSI finals (little tricky with LMS, but I'm sure they could figure something out).
