I play Flex 5v5 solo as an adc main and I keep getting supports that refuse to support me. They follow their friends they queued up with more and never help me. I usually end up losing because they dont help me botlane and end up helping mid more than bot. what can i do to fix this
Play solo/duo and it won't happen, or just try and be kind to them and ask for help with tons of ":)" or ":D", it makes you look less toxic if you say "can i get some help bot? :)" or "Hey (what ever the support is), could i pls stop roaming as much and help bot a little more? :)"
Often times it is because they see more potential in their friends than with a random stranger. I have followed around my jungler or mid later in the game because no matter what i do, the adc died. However, with me with the jungler or mid, we have 2v5ed.
Best solution is to queue up with a friend and then you will have less issues.
Second best would be play well enough that you are that garden tool that comes between bros.
Find a support to duo in flex with you. Many times when I see a support q'd with friends it's more so that they can get a game faster rather than them actually wanting to play support. Also, if they're with their friends they're more likely to opt to help them out since they know their capabilities more
Accept that them helping their friends sin't playing correctly. Equate it to just having a terrible support and move on. Odds of this are higher in flex because of premades but it really boils down to them being bad if theyre constantly roaming early instead of helping you zone for farming. I play with a premade all the time and I've never once put "helping a friend" over trying to win a game. On the flip side, if the adc is just terrible it is usually better to roam and make them sit under tower and farm. Ive had ADCs so bad that they got the same amount of farm just last hitting under tower as they did when i was in lane with them (only grabbing a couple cs per wave)
