~~TL:DR~~: the existence of an ingame report system is the biggest designflaw ever and the seed of all toxicity

other communities are more toxic than the league community but nobody cares because its all about playing the game, but in league, the sole existence of a "report system" accessible as easy as this where you just have to click a button next to a players name you hate is what instills and feeds the toxicity and hatred in the community. its not just that the system is flawed beyond repair, its that the existence of an ingame report system in a competetive teamgame is the EPIPHANY of bad design.

have a report system on the website and people will only use it when its worth the time. like, look at real life. imagine if someone calls you retard you can just instantly press a button, your real life voicechatlog has been saved to the international database and the police will instantly fuck his ass for insulting you. in reallife, you have to go through a lot of paperwork get a lawsuit on someone. you CAN get a lawsuit for insulting people since its a crime, but man is it really worth it? and if someone calls you a faggot cuz hes a homophobic dickhead, do you really want to SUE him for it? man get a fucking life. but in league, it is being supported to be a dickhead, you just have to be a dickhead in the right way.

I agree with this sentiment. I feel that people are just waiting to just report others if they even say something minor. I like this idea.

Based on the old tribunal you just had to say every one is guilty and get a 100% accuracy, I used to read them and vote oh that guys is not guilty at all, but if you do that you will lose to the others who just spam guilty and lose your 100% accuracy rating, so in that sense it is flawed. Currently there is no tribunal so kinda pointless poll until its back up.

Oh okay, yeah I'm just making this out of curiosity of other thoughts on about it. So they are updating the system??? Changing it? Do you know how they are changing it ?
