Am I the only one who thinks this item is too much?

I'm talking specifically on ranged champs. I played some earlier games playing with Fiora etc and vs Jayce/Teemo/Ryze etc they'd buy a ninja tabis and be particularly tanky without any other item. I really makes it difficult when you have to buy more defensive items and the only thing they need is a ninja tabi to negate 12% of your damage.

Flaherty1 votesI feel like it needs to be strong since a melee champion is at a significant disadvantage against ranged champions if they lane together. Maybe it is too strong against non ranged auto reliant champions though, so maybe they could change the damage mitigation so it's a different amount for ranged autos and melee autos
Brain Errör 4041 votesActually, yes. I believe that is my biggest problem. I play a lot of melee champs when I play top/jungle and ranged champs, especially battle mages (like Ryze in particular) get way too much from it.
Danjeng1 votesIt's a fair tradeoff for not having as much mpen or cdr from the other boot choices. Similarly, against Ryze, you could argue Merc Treads is very effective, because of Magresist and tenacity.

While it's good vs ranged poke etc, I find it extremely frustrating playing on melee auto-attack reliant champs.

I think Ninja tabi is balanced, since it's effective towards a specific type of damage dealers (aa-reliant). It's not a must-buy item. It does not mitigate 12% of your damage, since Fiora has abilities, which are not autoattacks. Also her passive does true damage, and will not be reduced by Ninja Tabis. If you are just autoattacking like you're Tryndamere, you're doing something wrong.
Weathered1 votesI feel like it is strong, but not too strong. If an auto attack champion becomes very meta, they may give it a tweak, but for right now it's very useful.

koreansmurf87511 voteshm, imo anyways, the whole point of them is to stomp laning phase (usually) however, yes this is a bit strong on them, however, the cdr, move speed/ other stuf they give up is the reasoning behind it (I think)
