What makes you think a champions damage changes with rank? This same thing happens in professional games.
I guess as a general rule their games seem to play out differently based on how they play etc. so it's not usual to see them dealing with the same crap I do being that I and all those around me just suck as a general rule.
Basically I'm used to seeing champs play a bit diff based on skill, so I kinda forget that Zoes play is pure statistical damage.
