I really want to learn how to jungle.
But I have absolutely zero idea on how or where to start.
How did y'all learn how to jungle?

Hi. I main jungle, but it takes a lot of practice. Pretty much, if you have mana, start at gromp and then go to blue. Do whatever after that, like get wolves or red. If you don't have mana but have sustain, start at crugs (golems), then do raptors or red, then do raptors or red, whichever you didn't do. If you do raptors first, smite red for bonus health. Go back, buy the recommended jungle item, and then jungle more or gank a lane that would result in a summoners or kill. Don't gank Heimer because he will kill you. I main Rek'Sai, so I camp bot or mid. You can also look at guides for jungling ( I recommend Anklespankin). Good luck on the rift and jungling!
we went into the jungle one day and after about 5 years of intensive study it is a proven fact that if we hit the jungle creeps enough... they die and we get gold for best results, carry around a machete.. how this grants more gold is an enigma
thats how you start jungling ;l
Smite, machete, 2 health pots, Lee Sin. GG.
I learned on amumu and I have been having a lot of success with him machete 2 pots armor health mana runes and 7-23-0 mastery start gromp smite blue red raptors or gank mid then the other back and buy chilling smite with boots pots wards
Well, the simplest way to get to know how to jungle is to just... Jump straight in and do it. Not in a ranked game of course. If you really don't feel confident you'll do well, you can practise 'till you get the hang of it in bot games, there's no shame in that.
As a jungle main, I can give you a couple of tips though. Do note that I play tanks in jungle, and not really many other roles, but I have some... fairly universal tips.
First: Jungle Paths vary greatly from champion to champion. Feel free to experiment with what works best. I have found, however, that starting on the side with blue-buff works best for tanks though, as smiting Red-buff gives you health. Remember that one.
Second: While, yes, some junglers are known to farm jungle, ganking is still fairly important. You will in no way be able to keep up with the laners in gold as the Jungler, unless... You get a ton of assists and get your team fed. This is generally considered part of the junglers job, so at least keep it in mind.
Third: Warding. As the jungler, you are the most unpredictable factor out of everyone. You can ward places laners can't get to without triggering the "Danger Alert" in the entire enemy team's head. Try to remember this, as it can get pretty handy at times.
Fourth: As the above one states, you are the most unpredictable factor. You are the member of your team with the tools to set up the biggest plays. Sure, the one with the kill gets the glory, but it would never be possible without the supporting cast. Set up those plays. Be unpredictable. But also remember; Don't be reckless. Be smart.
Fifth, and undoubtedly most important: STAY. CALM. Stressing makes everything much harder then it needs to be, and often your teammates wont be making it easier on you. "Gank top!" "No, Mid needs it more!" "Heck with you guys, we'll get a double in bot!" ect. Point is, gank when its opportune. Not whenever a laner goes "NUB JUNGLER WONT GANK" in all-chat.
I would go more into detail, but that'd make this post even more ridiculously long than it already is. Point is: Jungling is hard, but don't be discouraged! Those plays and ganks you can set up will be sooo worth it in the end. Just don't expect to be the one getting all the kills.
Step 1. Make a time machine Step 2. Use the time machine to go back to the old jungle where you could actually learn without the camps wrecking you so hard you fall 2 levels behind your lanes if you don't know 100% what you're doing.
I wouldn't mind some additional tips. I played a heck of a lot of jungle with bots and I usually finish with 40+ kills and at most 2-3 deaths. But I get into normals and get completely wrecked in the jungle. The gap between bot games and normals is so wide it's tough to get good.
