Specifically a nerf to his Q's missile speed.

I personally hate Zed. People think Teemo's obnoxious? People think Veigar's range and poke makes him obnoxious? How about zed popping up all over the lane through his shadows like its a game of fucking whack-a-mole. How about trying to have to worry about shit flying at you from every conceivable direction. Also, you can't walk into half of your lane because of Zed's aoe spin. Not to mention his ult gives him a Zhonia's, one of the trade-offs of taking an AD champion mid. But, no, he has a bs invincibility power for his ult that does fuck tons of damage. Nah. I hate Zed, and wish he wasn't so popular.

Not to mention I have not met one player who plays zed that doesn't spam his obnoxious-ass laugh. You think Teemo's squealing repetitive laugh his bad? Try this guy playing you a 30 minute symphony on his fucking iron lungs.

Sorry for the rant... but I think this slippery son of a bitch is complete cancer.

Actually, I kinda like Zed the champion. His shadow design with the multishuriken shot is neat and actually skillful, and his ult makes the idea of an AD assassin kinda work (AD doesn't really fit a 100-0 burst design, because it empower autos. AP is expected to have the higher burst).

Unfortunately his ults mobility is very frustrating and his energy makes his harass an asspain. More to the point, he has a huge and rabid fandom who are all dicks.

I play veigar, so when he escapes a teamfight and spams laugh, I make sure to keep my ult on standby for him....

But really, though... this could explain a lot. Maybe Zed mains aren't assholes; maybe they actually like his laugh.... Then again, maybe Lux mains like her laugh, or Taric mains can't help but keep listening to a loop of him say "Gems, gems are outrageous. They are truly, truly, truly.... outrageous."

To review:

AD Caster itemization got nerfed, zed got compensated with bigger W range, faster Qs, and ult damage buffed to 30 / 40 / 50% from 20 / 35 / 50%.
They release a new AD caster item
Zed ultimate is nerfed to 25 / 35 / 45%, Q, W buffs stay.

So they're essentially tying his ultimate power to an item which has a static 2 min cd and at first glance looks really annoying to use correctly
