starting to think mid is the hardest position to play in low ELO

i've played and spectated an exorbitant amount of low ELo games, one thing that seems to happen without fail is : other people coming mid lane to take cs and share exp with the midlaner

we're talking pre 10minutes and sometimes persisting post-lane phase, huge waves of cs building up on side lanes, jungle spawns lit up like a christmas tree.

Whats the point of even picking waveclearing mid lane champs anymore lul. It doesn't even matter if the midlane is underfarmed of fed, it's like a constant focus on ARAMing.

the hardest part about being a low elo mid laner

is people ignoring your mia pings.

A common thing in lower ELOs is the "just 5 man mid" mentality - people often don't know what they should be doing after laning and gravitate towards having an ARAM for some reason.

Honestly, this is why I'd recommend picking a wave-clearing mid.

If the enemy groups mid against you, you can stall them out. If both teams groups up against one another, you can just poke the enemy team down while waiting for a fight to start.

Lux, Ziggs and Xerath are good options in this situation.

Please specify exactly what elo. I was Silver 3 in season 5, ended in Bronze 2 (couldn't go past promos) last season and I never saw such idiocy. Either I was very lucky, this is something recent or the madness you talk about is B5 or something.

you can also go to the side lanes?
