7.23 extreme FPS issue

I had no problems in patch 7.22 but now I have major FPS problems. My screen was actually freezing last game for 3+ seconds at a time, at least once a minute by the end of the game. It gets worse every game, which is odd. When it isn't frozen, it is dropping to 4-9 FPS at least half of the time, the other half being around my capped 80 (a little lower though, which shows there is a constant issue). My FPS uncapped sits at around 160. I've changed the settings to the best performance possible, but it still drops. Has anyone been experiencing this issue to this extreme, and has anyone had any success in fixing the FPS issue this preseason>
