Remember the last AP enchantment? The one that got replaced for runeglaive?
I seem to recall a decent number of people wanting magus to remain a thing while just adding runeglaive.
Explain to me why we are going through the exact same thing again? Why does runeglaive need to be removed for this runic echo thing?
Abyssphere1 votesBecause they do almost the exact same thing. They're both AP items that give a passive increasing your burst and offering mana sustain in the jungle. Having both in the game would be redundant - this is clearly them trying to make a better version of Runeglaive.
Niyumi2 votesIt is not the same thing. You can proc RG every couple seconds, and this new thing maybe once per camp, if that. This was built for AP assassins or mages who don't ever auto.

LaoBushido1 voteswas taking about this with my friend the most logically explanation is that not all champs can utilize sheen and as sheen doesn't give ap anymore this will widen the champ pool who can used the item
