Mikael's Crucible's cooldown is 180 seconds.

Three minutes.

Why the fuck is it that long? And why did it take me this long to realize that?

It took you that long?

It only took me about three minutes.

Might be because I never built it ever because it was only ever useful to me in concept once as a support.

Also, I see what you did there.

Because when it was popular and had a short cooldown, CC ultimates were worthless.

If you get it as Thresh with a Kalista, she becomes nearly unstoppable, so thats a thing.

Now that I'm thinking about it, could you imagine that? Kalista summoner 4 summoner 1 item 3139

Thresh summoner 4 item 3222 item 3190

Won't stop knock-ups or displacements still.

So my usual counterpick of Nautilus is basically unavoidable.

Pretty much a free GP W on an ally. Should be like 120 seconds at the most.

You didn't realize it because you were stunlocked and Mikael's was on cooldown.

cause noone ever buys it maybe once in a blew moon to stop a malz ult on an ally but if the team is littered with cc then whats the point

It doesn't remove Suppression effects, so all it's going to do is heal there.

Mikael's doesn't even stop suppresses, only other cc.

Also keep in mind that it does not remove Suppression or Blinds, and can't be cast when you are stunned/silenced so it is nearly worthless to protect the holder (it'd work on slows and roots though).

The base stats are also horribly inefficient for the price(and that's assuming you even benefit off of mana regen/don't already have max cdr), so there's really no reason to ever buy it. It's like, 1400 gold worth of stats for 2400 gold.

This is why Mikael's Crucible needs to be removed, and Cleanse reworked into the support spell it should be, functioning like a Heal but instead removing cc from yourself and a nearby ally champion. That would justify a 180 second CD. Hell, put it on a five-minute colldown if you think it's that OP. Tie it in to the gold-generation items that supports use, and voila, we can start making changes to support items, and make that Summoner Spell only one per team so that it stays with the support.

Then you can start making items tailored specifically to supports.

Also, why can't we make it so that you can only have one Smite per team? When someone other than the jungler takes Smite, 9 times out of 10, it's because they want to build and abuse some OP jungle item, and not because they want to duo-jungle.

I thought it was all allies in the radius for its 3 min cooldown. Nope, I built it a few times, confused on why it wouldn't do anything then realized its single target and shit.
