I'm just wondering if our most beloved Archer would be receiving a rework in her Hawk Shot (E); as it feels as if could be replaced with another- more impactful/unique ability that separates Ashe from other AD carries.

Actually, Ashes E is one of her best abilities. You have to remember that shes a Utility ADC. She has so much utility, that Riot made it so her damage output is a bit less. High up in the ladder, Its a vital ability that can save you and your teammates from a gank or ambush.
Ashe is the utility ADC.
.... and you want to replace her utility?
Just because you can't use it doesn't mean Riot should change one of the more unique ADC abilities.
It wasn't her E only that is needed to be rework her movement speed I mean come on she is so slow
The ability to provide undeniable vision anywhere on the map is really strong.
Obviously pro play is going to make significantly better use of it than solo queue (particularly lower elo solo queue), so it may feel pretty lackluster there, but even as a solo player with 4 monkeys, the ability to determine where the enemy jungler is/isn't is super useful to know how aggressively you can play.
The only ability on Ashe which could be changed without competely gutting her kit is Q. Her E is extremely strong as-is, especially if both charges can be used back-to-back, and her W and R are vital to her laning and fighting respectively.
Why is everyone forgetting that E of her can give you vision on dragon and baron. So her E is not just good in lane to save against ganks but also outside lane. This makes roaming slightly easier for her and to farm better without her support. If she needed a buff then maybe they could increase her damage but as of right now she is perfectly balanced i believe.
Hawkshot is impactful, unique, and separates her from other ADCs.
Make the hawk explode in a beautiful rain of ice shrapnel, toss some okay damage on it. Gg moderate.
Hmm look... Her E is already changed... and reworked..... Old Ashe gave small amounts of Gold on E I think... Her E is REALLY helpful
