Riot this is a game breaking problem

So. You spend hours and hours playing a computer game you are extremely passionate about. You stay up extra late even though you have to work in the morning. You have to blow off your wife or girlfriend because the 20-40 minutes are crucial.

I could go on about just a normal ranked game but I think it's not about those normal ranked games. It's about the placement matches.

I started league about a year ago and have played ranked steady. If there is one problem I've noticed in League of Legends it is the placement matches. I understand why Riot makes it the way it is. It's based off of MMR. But MMR can't read toxic, afk, or dcer. And that's the biggest problem really.

I guess to sum up this thread is to just point out how pathetic placement matches are. I have played nearly 900 ranked games in the last year almost and the biggest let down is these matches. Like as a gamer I should be excited "this will define if a move on or not, better play my best, set aside 2 hours or so."

Then you get the bottom of the barrel. Dcers and Afkers constant. People that don't give a fuck. You need to put ranked players that play ranked daily into a category. There is a big difference between a daily player and a off and on. Us daily want the best experience possible.

Riot initiate a program that brings all the daily league players that really have passion. There is enough people. I just notice a community that has players that try hard like a sport, giving time and effort. And when you have 1 person or 2, that defile that code by afker or dcer, you hurt the entire team as this is a team game.

They seem common because the 10 afkers you get stick more than the 100 good teammates you've had. Just how the brain works. It's the first 100 that matter, not 10. Don't sweat your placements. I placed s5 and got to gold over a week when i finally stepped up. Just relax and try to have fun. But if you haven't learned that in 900 games you may not ever.

From my own experience, Riot wants you to carry when you are in promos. Always try to get a carry role/champ during promos. If not, chances are you will lose.
