What a nice and constructive post. The fact that you already earn less than 20 lp per win suggest that your MMR is shit so why wouldn't you get demoted after a single defeat? If anything, it helps you since your MMR wouldn't tank it and your division does instead. And remember kids, MMR is the only thing that matters.
I'm all with you on the afk thing but I really think you should understand the ranked system a little bit better because it might stop some of your frustration with getting demoted. First off you should never be that angry over what your exact rank is everyone who plays ranked slides back and forth between ratings due to variance in games so its normal to go from silver 1 to silver 2 and back to silver 1. If you never afk you only have 4 potential players on your team that can afk and there are 5 potential people on the other team who can afk so over a large number of games there is a statistical probability that you will get more free wins from afk's than losses as long as you don't afk yourself. As far as lp gains and getting demoted after one game at 0 lp. Your lp gains and losses are based off of your mmr as a general rule of thumb if you have a high win rate like 55% + you should gain much more lp than you lose per game, if you have an average win rate of 50% you should gain about the same amount of lp as you lose if you have a win rate bellow 50% you should expect to gain less lp than you win per game until you bring your win rate up. From looking at your op.gg I can see that you have a 48% win rate which partially explains why you lose more lp than you gain. When it comes to getting demoted at 0lp after only one game this is also based on your mmr which is a little bit low because of your win rate but more importantly because as I can see on your op.gg you went 2W 6L since getting promoted to Silver 1 the 4 game difference in your wins and losses is exactly the kind of safety net you normally get when at 0lp for the first time after being promoted but this wasn't your first time being at 0lp you lost at 0lp multiple times since getting promoted and this last time you were demoted after one game because your mmr safety net had expired due to going 2W 6L since getting promoted. Don't get mad at me I'm not trying to be rude or anything I actually think that given your low number of games played and good kda's you will probably have a really good win rate after putting in more games and I don't think that you getting demoted to silver 2 was your fault but understanding these things can lead to less frustration in the future. If rather than getting frustrated you just accept that variance is a bitch and continue to put in games you will get to gold in no time. The fact that you care so much about the difference between a random made up rank like silver 2 or 1 shows that Riot has actually come up with a genius ranked system that gets people really invested into the game far from trash imo. I also would like to point out that when you got placed you got placed in Silver 2 and despite going 23W 25L in ranked you went from Silver 2 0LP to Silver 2 75LP even after your demotion. So you gained 75 LP for losing 2 more games than you won seems more than fair to me.
I´ve come back to this game multiple times over the past few years and what makes me leave every single time is the unbearable frustration of having built up a good lead to win a game just to have someone leave the game and have to swallow the Loss demote, despite winning your Matchup, lane and eventually game. There is nothing more sickening than this to me in this game and I believe it´s for the good if I quit it for good this time.
