Lag in Ranked (Exclusive)

Just putting this out there. I can play normal games with Skype and youtube running and still be at a constant 43 ping, the moment I play a ranked game however (with nothing else running) it sky rockets to 1260, hits 500, then "attempts to reconnect".

It has only happened when I played ranked which has been two games so far, compared to the 30 or so norms I been playing since the new client came out.

Anyone else struggling with this? Suggestions other than "Don't play ranked"
