Why LeaverBuster shouldn't Exist

So, I playing in the rift one day and it was just after the recent patch. I noticed my fps was messed up and I couldn't play normally even on low setting, so I decided to exit the game shut other systems down and rejoin. Client freezes my computer. Ok, lets restart. I get back in game to carry my team to victory. Was gone for 10m played for 37m. Im feeling good after my comeback but then I see this, LeaverBuster. So, my friend was in that game and told my team my technical issue and no one reported me and I also "finished" out the game but nevertheless I must now play five games at 20:00m wait times. I understand there are idiots out there who rage, quite and flame, but for the love of god riot, theres people with tech issues too! Would it be nice to reward players who try to get back into a game? Would it be nice to support these players instead of putting your hands up and say that all players are treated equally? Or would you actually take the god damn time to create a better system for dealing with toxic players. Personally I love the tribunal.

On another note, this is mostly in the heat of the moment and I will peaceably play the rest of my games with sportsman like conduct. However, is there any other sufferers out there of unfair LOL punishment. What are you thoughts?

As an addition comment, what would you want as different punishment system for League of Legends?
