Which is better for fighting tanks? When would you use one over the other?

Lord Dominik's is the best for most ADCs, unless you really need the GW, and your mage won't get it for you.

Mortal reminder should be considered most often when you have champions like Aatrox and Vladimir - ones that tend to stack some armor and sustain, instead of health.

I would pick item 3036 unless you need the greivous wounds.

if you against tankers/Bruisers that protect themselves with shield like Ornn Urgot Garen Sejuani Braum etc a item 3036 is your way to go. if you against tankers/Bruisers that sustain alot from life steal or skill vamp like Maokai Illaoi Trundle Aatrox Volibear Darius etc a item 3033 is your ticket.

for Kindred you normally have good attack speed so I like grabbing item 3071 instead, hp and move speed for survivability, 40 AD, 20% cdr
