A reminder to only worry about things you can actually fix:

TL;DR: "Focus on improving yourself," but more elaborate and hopefully more motivational. Y'all have probably heard all this before, but I thought maybe it'll help to have it phrased differently.

Do you find yourself stuck in ELO hell, thinking "What I do, I do great, but it's not working. I regularly get scores like 10/2/18 and still lose." Well, maybe the things you are focused on doing great aren't the best to focus on.

Ignore the KDA, in fact ignore everything you're already good at, you don't need to worry about that stuff. You can't fix what's not broken, after all. Focus on something you suck at. For instance, maybe you could communicate better with pings. Maybe there's some issue with your team-fighting. Certainly, you must have some weakness; no one's perfect. At the very least, you'll have something to blame your losses on aside from ELO hell and bad teams.

And if you're focused on those shitty teams/ragers/afks/first-time-Kled-mains that are keeping you trapped in Silver, definitely stop focusing on that. You can't do anything about bad teams; you can't fix them in order to rank up. But you can always improve your own play.

Good luck, have fun, and Happy hunting. And don't do drugs. Also, if you play Zyra, ignore all this; I hate you. No you hang up first...
