Ranked is so annoying when ONE player dictates the outcome of the game...

If I want to climb, and I get that ONE troll who decides to run in and just feed. Thus giving the enemy kills, gold, and team fight advantage. LIKE WHAT IS THIS!? I mean, what does reporting them even do? I still get the lost. I shouldn't be penalized because of a single players control of the game. I should only be penalized IF I am playing bad, or my team got outplayed.

An there's a HUGE difference between a player playing bad, and someone who is just trolling because they can without worry. Especially in ranked, where the enemy doesn't even care because they got a won. They just back out and don't report. There's needs to be a way, A REAL way to penalize a player for just trolling. Like, ban them from ranked this season. OR something drastic, because only one ONE occasion did I get the message for the player get some sort of penalty from reports. ONE. Out of like so many games where someone decided to just throw the game because they didn't want the team to win.

I know I am one an a million players who complain, but SHEESH, this is irritating. Now I have to win 4 more games in row to promote to Gold 2. I JUST WANNA FREAKING GET BETTER AT THIS GAME! NOT BE PULLED DOWN BY TROLLS WHO WANNA SEE THE WORLD BURN FOR CHRIST SAKE...

Alright, I feel good now. deep breaths Yeah I understand this is a game. But this is a game I put time, money, and effort into so that I can be a better player. An a lot of other players have as well. In all honesty. I would have a requirement where people have to spectate three or four ranked games. An community spot obvious trolls. An when someone finds a potential troll. Have the screen show a tally for the ally an enemy team only to pinpoint a troll and have the game end, and penalize the troller with an extended ban from ranked for like two weeks, and double it each time. And have the trolled to have a pass on the game.

You think its bad now? In season 2 and 3 you could take someone like tryn top and literally just stay top and win the game by 15 minutes. Towers could be facetanked with no minions and would melt. Theyve actually done a LOT towards making the game less snowbally (its a new word). There used to be constant threads titled "Get Dunked" showing a team that was 40 kills behind but they won with the master yi backdoor, because he could literally melt the two nexus turrets with no minions there. Be careful what you wish for honestly.

If the guy gets reported successfully, then the Lp he lost that match should be doubled. Thats a start to stop this stupidity.

Ranked is determined by 10 1 players, it is up TO YOU to deal with the hand you're dealt, practice, there are trolls in every division, make trolls be useful to YOU, if i got a troll in silver, i let them be, sometimes they were annoying, but as long as i could outplay my opponent top. no matter how many times my troll would feed my opponent i would outscale and outplay, i didn't ever practice in ranked for ranked i played normals, nonstop each game is a learning experiene, there is no Git Gud without having a part where "Gitting Gud intensifies" at some point you have to overome people being worse than you on your team, why not take it to another level where you can make up for 2 people.... there are 10 individuals in a game, one can carry and negate another who refuses to.

Trolls don't get in trouble it seems. The whole team can report, and they get away with it. You still lose LP and get a Loss, and on top of that you lose time (Losing doesn't make it a waste of time, if everyone tries, but when one guy trolls by feeding, AFK'ing, or standing in base, or not cooperating in general it's a waste of time).

Even though it use to be WAY WORSE with toxicity, it seems it is so easy to avoid any form of punishment, maybe until months of trolling finally catches up, but there needs to be a way to at least lower the LP lost, and if someone AFK's early on at least get a re-do match or a special category of "Loss" that counts as something else, maybe call it "No Win" while allowing another match to be played (especially during Promos).

DOTA 2 does something cool with the AFKs in competitive, LoL/Riot should take notes from DOTA2 in that regard (the AFKs). And maybe then add a bit more by listening to people, like the players (all of us, or take a not from Scrap Computer, or whatever).

Real trolling will be too hard to detect. Maybe, maybe it can if the troll is literally feeding as fast as possible and then AFKs, but there are some very creative trolls out there. They type nothing but nice things, don't cooperate much in any fight and would only feed a bit (might die more to a Gromp than an actual champion). These guys seem to have figured out the best formula ever it seems, to avoid any sort of punishment, and it seems if they do get any warning, it will be mostly treated as a "neutral" player that "had a bad game" instead of a real troll.

If there are trolls, or i suspect one, i actually leave the area and ignore them. I wont even try to kill them. Sometimes the bastards are persistent and want me to use an ability at least one or a single basic/auto attack so someone gets kill credit. For if you don't kill them, they will keep going at you and kill you, so if unable to avoid it, i will be force to kill them or get shutdown, or deal with a long death timer.

In a team-based game, one bad player, or one good player can alter the outcome of the game drastically.

perma ban on intentional feeders.... this is a huge issue and lyte isnt doing shit about it period... perma ban period! So sick of people going 0-43 in ranked with no items and not being banned or even reported by anybody else. I have been 2 week banned about 9 times in my lol career for my toxic mouth but its always against people who start to intentional feed after we tried to convince them nicely to play and keep them calm and that approach didnt work. Then i get mad and say report so and so and they feed even more but whatever. For all the times I have been banned for talking s*** , i have never AFKED OR intentionally fed in a ranked match ever. I have played thousands of ranked matches, NEVER afked or fed intentionally. You wanna ban us two weeks every single time we talk crap but you do absolutely jack shit about intentional feeders. You can talk all the crap you want as long as you are playing to WIN, i could care less what racial or homo slur you call me. You arent the problem, the trolls are. my two cents and i dont care if this gets downvoted for wall of text or bluntness.

TL:DR : perma ban all intentional feeders after first warning.

Riot could add a system where if a player has a stupidly high number of deaths/minute the game counts as loss prevented.

I'm pretty excited for next season where you will be able to queue up with 5 people in solo queue (even though that doesn't make sense?). Which completely negates the random moron teammate problem.

I feel you though. Had a shaco jungle with a master tier border go afk in our jungle for a few mins when he was level 4. Completely missed his powerspike, and was like playing a 4v6 for the rest of the game with him just randomly trying to kill people 4 levels above him and feeding over and over.

In the new system, I'd have to AGREE to have that guy on my team so it's not random! :D

WARNING: Basic statistics ahead.

So... Assuming that you're not a troll yourself, your team has 4 potential trolls, while the other team has 5. So technically, the other team is MORE LIKELY to have a troll than your team...

But regarding the part where one player decides the outcome of the game, I agree. However, there's no actual way to instantly punish trolls and (intentional) feeders, as it'll either be abused or automatic and inaccurate. Plus, if you compare the number of games launched every second and the number of spectators, you can see that your suggestion isn't realistic.

TLDR: I agree that trolls ruin games but unfortunately there's no way to stop them.
