SO I was watching a League Video, and in my head popped the idea that.

"What if all skill shot abilities could go on forever and where global."

So like a well aimed thresh or blitz hook could catch you from bot lane from top lane or mid. Or Jarvan could throw his flag from top to bot to get that attack speed buff to allies, or if nid threw a spear from bot and hit a person mid, some how they would die. Like on the spot, or thresh throwing his lantern to top lane and bringing them bot or from the jungle.

I know it's would make a lot of champs op (Like nid) but it only limited to skillshot abilities. So Garen or Darius can't just ult you from top and execute a bot laner. But Kog Ma, or someone that has a skill shot could if they landed it.

It's just an idea, but I think it would be pretty fun and unique, or even increase the range of abilities to crazy levels like garen's ult and triple the range or kat could jump back at triple the range. It's an idea though so I would love to talk about who would be the strongest in the category. (And to make sure no blitz just sits at tower all day and throws pulls till he gets a fish so to speak. Hooks have an increased CD )

Multiply point cllick abilities range by 1.5.

Multiply skillshot spells range by 2.

Introduce gimmick ( snipe zones/turret? summoner spell/item with active that allows next skillshot to be global & introduce counterpart SS/item that gives power to targeted spells )

There you go, the next URF level game mode.

Also, how would this work with ground targeted abilities or abilities that force champions to stop moving? Would J4 stand still until his lance either hit his flag or the other side of the map? Would LeBlanc be able to jump anywhere?

What about skillshots that explode or remain like Zed's W or Karma's RQ?

It is a good idea but it needs more work

I've thought of this before. I generally refer to it as "Global Mode". One change I would propose is:

-You cannot shoot global skill shots from within you're own base unless there is an enemy champion or minion in you're base with you -- This makes champions like Blitz and Kog less OP because they can't just spam hooks/Kog ults from base with infinite mana and guaranteed kills.

  • I also want to clarify - A skill shot is anything that does not lock on to a champion. This opens up abilities like Naut's E, Thresh's E, and Jarven's Q to be global

I am all for this game mode. It sounds like it would be rather URF like in that it would just be silly, broken, and a ton of fun. It wouldn't be great for competitive play, but that's okay, because I think it would still be a ton of fun.

Also, would blitz be forced to sit still until his fist hit something? Or could he start moving while it is still in flight?

Omg this would make Lissandra's Q the best farming technique in this game mode with slight CDR, AND wouldn't her E give her mobility to literally ANYWHERE on the map? Regardless, still seems incredibly fun!

I think you're trying to say any champion with projectile-based skillshots. Otherwise, Leblanc or anyone with a non-point click gap closer could go anywhere on the map.

How does cone skillshots like morde e or cho silence work? Do they fan out forever?

It would be fun on champions with skill shots but an awful lot of champions would be pointless in the mode, mostly looking at those with more than one point and click. Some amendments that could make them worth playing.

*Point an click abilities now have 2-3x range./ 2x may be to low for some 3x may be to high for others.

*Vector baser skill shots Rumble Viktor, 3x place radius, 2x length./ part aoe part skill shot allowing it to be placed anywhere would give a little to much precision, though I think Rumbles would basically be global anyways.

*AOE skills like Quinn's Valor, Expunge, hymn of valor, or Urgots acid hunter have 1.5-2x range/ While I believe Urgot is affected by fog of war the others aren't and could become very powerful very quickly.

*Things like Garen's spin, and Jax's stun would have 2x range./ very powerful if there was a teamfight for some odd reason

*3x auto-attack range, make all auto's like twitches ult with no penetration./ This would look hillarious

*1.5x blink/dash distance./ this is for two reasons 1. blinks are stupid 2. Graves needs to stop before going the way of the missed jinx rocket.

*The Anti-Ward visible like the pink every champion can place one, new ward denies minion vision of an area to the enemy denies champions vision of area unless they enter a set range (wards in this range will see into it). Shows up as red fog of war, towers also provide this in a small radius.

*There are windwalls in set locations five not so wide windwalls around dragon pit and one normal one on the opposite wall (same over at baron)./ while still possible to hit dragon and baron with skill shots sloppily aimed ones will simply hit the windwalls, alternatively expanding these would force people to come out of base to take these giving the non-skill shot champs a chance.

*There are windwalls in front of spawn./ Blitz grabbing and killing you every time you spawn would get real old real fast.

Some of these may be arguable, but I think they push in the right direction.

Blitz simply pulls as soon as the game begins.

Also, if Darius uses e in fountain, I guess that means insta penta, and complete minion waveclear.

would they rotate around the map? nah this would be too broken. You'd just get some tard farming creeps from spawn/near fountain for infinite mana.
