How do you beat Kayne as Quinn? I have like over 75 percent win rate in ranked with Quinn and don't understand how you are suppose to beat him, when he ults and basically is doing damage over time while being untargettable. Can that be dispelled in any way? By the time his ult is over, I am dead which is pretty darn lame, any counterplay for it?
PhantomGG2 votesAre you talking about vs laner Kayn? Honestly you as a quinn player should have the major advantage for it's range vs melle. However if you are having troubles with him in lane it's most likely for he is using a very old but sorta advanced trick to beat you in lane with his W. The trick is the following, not sure if it has a name but more advanced players will give you this advice all the time.
Watch where your opponent is walking, watch how low the minions are, the minion that is the lowest will be the minion they want to last hit so they will adjust themselves to get to a location where they can last hit said minion. As they are in the middle of a walking animation, you through your skillshot down where they will be walking. For if you know where they are walking it will make skill shot landing much easier. People use this trick against draven all the time, which is one of the many difficulties that comes with playing draven, the fact his play is telegraphed. If Kayn is using this trick on you, try being less obvious with your pathing in where you want to walk.
That being said you are also ranged, abuse that on him, every time he wants to last hit a minion, punish him for it, if he comes up to you, blind his ass, E him. He also has mana problems while you don't, just abuse him out of lane and roam as often as you can. This all and all should be a easy match up for you.
However if you are having trouble against jungle kayn. Kayn is a champion who is allowed to do very odd ganks becuase of his E. Ward deap, if you do lazy wards, than by the time you see him, your most likely dead, for this exact reason, ward deep, so you can get a good 10 second warning on his location. Buy pinks, buy lots. Ask your jungler to give you a pink as well if possible. The moment you see him, play safe for a good thirty seconds. Kayn is a jungle who is allowed to be patient, and he will wait for a gank even if it takes him half a minute to get it done.
As for his ult, His ult honestly does laughable damage in the early levels, the way it works, is that after he ults you, his next auto attack/ability will do more damage to you. so the moment he ults you and your still alive, get out and get out fast. that being said if your quinn, Just E him the moment you see him, E/Q his butt, don't let him get ontop of you.
Kayn is an assassin, even in Rahst form where he is more bruiserish, and like all assasins, Kayn hates facing tanks, to my knowledge Quinn has a bruiser build where she goes two or three lethality items and than full tank. This will help you out greatly vs Kayn for now he can no longer assassinate you, at leaste not without great effort.

It's a jungler kayn that went 7/2 and was 1 shotting me.
I never build bruiser, only leth/crit.
