Should people picking a champion into ranked they've never played before be a reportable offense?
Just my thoughts, for it's pretty much a guaranteed loss for your team.

Such a rational and composed individual...
No.
You're one of them people.

Also, this is why you're bronze 5 with 76 lp LOL

Don't listen to him going up the ranks doesn't have any kind of reward despite the Season end reward for gold tier and + glad to see you're having fun in bronze I'm definitely not in silver Lol I avoid ranked due to the stress I get from those games and teammates doing stupid things like oh enemy is pushing lane with 5 people and I'm alone? YOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Tries to 1v5 ^ is extremely common place in silver tier ^
No. They are free to ruin their elo if they want to.
Albo It raises Time New players need to enter ranked - if we require say 5 Games times 16 required champions It becomes awfull lot.
Also It makes smurfs really sad.
It's ruining MY* elo.
No it's not. If you never do It, there are 4 players on your team that can do It, vs 5 on enemy team. In the long run It actually raises your elo.
I'm saying that MY teammates are doing it once every 3 games.
Given large sample of ranked games, enemies do It even more often, only you can't notice It. It's maths.
no
Implying that your first time with ANYTHING results in abject, crushing failure.
Really because you will know Diana's full combo and execute it perfectly without failing? Okay then
What, Q->wait->R->W->E->Q->R->R for a long combo (autos thrown in of course), Q->R->R->W/E and autos, or Q->R->W->R->E?
I'm just guessing, as I've played her probably twice in the last few years, and never even looked at a guide. You can generally figure out a champion's combos by just looking at their abilities though.
And sometimes being on the receiving end enough times you start to notice things and then you try to emulate what they did to you and adjust as you notice that what you did wasn't just right yet.
I suppose I do have plenty of experience against pretty much every mid laner in the game. I play almost exclusively in the mid lane. I think I also just learn the roots of combos from my general knowledge of the abilities in the game. I remember when I first started playing LoL, I spent so much time looking through every champions' abilities. That's how I know most combos, as well as general experience (learned that waiting first is a common way to reach max damage combo when marks are being consumed from Akali).
Back on the original topic though, I think it's preferable not to first time a champion in ranked, but sometimes people already understand them well enough to manage it ok. They probably won't be carrying (they could though), but it may still be preferable to their usual picks in the given situation.
Yeah it would be preferable if they didn't first time a champion in ranked and stuck to what they know. But to be a reportable offense for playing a champion for the first time in ranked? It sound really harsh to me.
No for not all users are bad players, for example I played Tahm kench a year ago when he was hard core OP for the first time in ranked, and hard carried with him, once in a while you will get champs who are hard core OP, and people will try them out for the first time in ranked and hard carry simply because the champ is that op.
guys .. guys , calm down .... im a zilean main
