3v3 Flex matchmaking needs a hotfix

I was placed Gold 2 and now I'm Gold 1, slowly climbing to plat. Every single game I play is with players who are Bronze/Silver in Flex 3v3. I'm gaining 23 LP per win. There is NO REASON for me to be playing with a Bronze 1, a Silver 1, and going against a Gold 1, a Gold 2, and a Plat 4. This is incredibly consistent and my friends are also experiencing similar matches. Please hotfix this. I don't care if queues go up to 3 minutes. I should not have an average of ~Silver V as a teammate when I'm almost Plat.

I agree. It feels like a mess right now. I'm P1 in promos for D5 and I STILL have games where I'll have a silver 4 and gold 5 that just simply don't have the game knowledge to compete against plat/diamonds. The match quality is so inconsistent the games more often than not feel like they are more determined by who happend to be unlucky and get more newbs than the other team.

Part of the problem is the ability for silvers/golds to duo with diamonds for placements. I had 1 gold player straight up tell me he did his placements with his D2 friend and he was placed into plat even though he doesn't actually know how to play 3s at all. Once he stopped playing with his D2 friend he was no longer capable of winning a game. I LOVE the idea of ranked 3s, but maybe make it so that people can't do placements with others - or make it so that you can't duo with someone that is a tier over you in solo q, I don't know, something, anything. Please fix.

Flex MMR was a fresh mmr that was lightly influenced by solo Q meaning almost everyone started around 1200 mmr. Meaning MMR ranges are off from what people are use to since it doesn't necessarily mean that if you are plat that your mmr is above 2k right now. Mix that with the fact 3s always has less players and its obvious why you are being paired with low players.

Gold is around 1800 mmr, everyone starts around S5, if they win 5 games in placements they can easily be at gold range mmr.

I know what you mean I played a game last week where my 2 teamates were gold and I was against a full challenger 3's team...matchmaking is really messed up right now
