So as the title says whats with all the lux hate atm iv seen people calling her op however she hasn't had any major changes or buffs recent so whats with all the hate

Safe harassing Good utility Massive burst damage Long ass range skill-shots < her E is about as easy to land as Kassadin's Force Pulse. Annoying ass laugh
idk i never seemed to hate lux, always felt she was a little soft.
Apparently though, i died to her more than any other champion in league soooo.
The ultimate skin made her even more relevant than before.
This is not new, it's just a re-surfacing of an old hate because her snares and range were obnoxious to a lot of people. When I used to main her back in late season 4 to early season 5, people complained about her poke range as a Mid and her oppressive snare as a Support. Then when Katarina, Zed, and Yasuo took over the mid lane after the changes to mana pots, she fell out of favor for more sustainable mages and supports.
Elementalist Lux was released, which led to her her play rate increasing.
As such, more people began losing games to her and complaining about it.
New skin. Lots of people picking her and cheesing with laser ults.
I don't care what people say. Especially in unorganized pubs, players are going to clump up and give Lux the easiest lasers of her life.
Too safe
I hated laning vs Lux long before her ultimate skin came out. I can't call her OP but she's definitely a pain in the ass. I think it's both the size of her E and the ability to let it sit to zone someone out or detonate on command that drives me nuts. That and after she has Morellos you're as good as dead if she lands a Q.
she wasn't popular before the skin release.
