Small review from TiensiNoAkuma, one I'm sure you've heard of. I myself am a Dimond Kat lover as well.

You need to seriously consider just how much of her laning phase you are destroying. Her Q at level 1 is out-traded by auto-attacks. She can barely CS with W because of its crappy base damage. She is an AP assassin, not a melee auto-attack reliant hybrid like you seem to want to force her into. All that base damage and AP scaling you took off of her Q and moved it into the mark? How is she supposed to activate that? Using her only escape and putting herself in melee range of an enemy champion whose spells out-trade any damage she just did, probably with CC to boot?.

The whole charade with her Shunpo is also going to be confusing. "Which allies can I retreat onto? Which enemy champions are marked? Oh wait I got a reset, so..I CAN go to him!" You removed the damage on it entirely and what did you give her in compensation? +25 base damage and +0.1 AP scaling on her Q? But let's not forget that this only applies to when you can activate the mark. If you're just poking the enemy down you lose 60 damage and 0.15AP scaling.

I don't know what your aim is. You're messing with her attack speed, AD scalings, and autoattack resets like you have a grand picture in mind in to make her into something she is not. Please reconsider or at the very least, please come post here about your thought process and why you (Riot) think this is going to be a successful Reworkv2 of her.

And not even all of this, they are also removing DFG!! The removal of Kat's first item is by far a huge nerf to her, as it's what helped establish her first reset. This is in no way a small slap on the wrist.

Agreed. This version of Katarina seems to be an idea by Riot to make her a much less powerful Yasuo, that can get easily countered by most champs still.

Just saying, as long as her ult is an easily interruptible self-lockdown, meaning she can't auto attack during that time, she will never be a good AD champion. Their idea for this iteration of Kat is like Talon Jr. Jr.

Honestly, this is not going to go well. Remember the last champion who teetered between AP and AD? I will give you a hint of who that was: "GET ON MY CHOPPER!"

Also, he likely was more powerful then than this rework Katarina would be when she came out.

Katarina is basically one Riot's Trademark champions. Specially katarina. You can see her almost in everything related to Riot's propaganda. I really highly doubt they ground her.
