Is Shaco E ability do any damage.

I use Shaco 2 shiv ability or whatever the name is on a champion with extremely low health and when i use it the champ still lived. Is this a technical issue or something. I don't get it. Does this move do any damage at all. I was suggesting to get rid of the move and replaced it with a teleport back stab move because this e ability shaco has doesnt do anything. It has poison on the tip is says but does no damage. Riot Shaco needs more poison on the knives or something.

The damage is extremely low at lower ranks (5 damage).

So it doesnt do much. That explains it. The name sound so cool but it is kinda crappy. I thought it was a bug or tech issue or something in game.

What up! So mate, I took a look at a few games you played. Now I don't know your runes or masterys used but they wont affect rule of thumb style math so its not an issue. I don't know what your Ability leveling path was as well, but given that the Base damage from E is 5 / 35 / 65 / 95 / 125 Your not gonna see to much damage from it from its base. Its the .75 AD and AP scaling as well as its Level based %missing hp damage (starting at 3 and going up 1% every 2 levels until it caps at 8% at level 11. So your rushing item 3078 which only provides 25 ad 0 ap. your looking at only 18.75 damge added to it... pre MR reduction lol. Also the Crit from his Q only scales off ad, the bounes damage trigger from Trinity passive does not get amped.
Now all that being said, I do think that if riot wants to give shaco some more late game power a good way to go about it is to extend his % damage level scaling all the way to level 18. Thou admitidly they might need to change the Gain per 2 level amount for balance reasons.

Recently i changed my playstyle to that. Because i always play against jug like master Yi, Xin and tryndamere who feeds on attack spped and lifesteal. My usual built i was succesful with was item 3087 , item 3031 , item 3072 , item 3742 and item 3074
