Master Yi is TOO OP. RIOT NEED TO NERFED HIM

I just lost a game against this champion. The rest of the enemy team was wack but this one champion just destroyed us like its nothing. How can i beat a master Yi at level 18 with attack speed and lifesteal. Guys if there is a way around it let me know because it is stupid. Even when we ganked the guy he came under our tower and still comes out with full health. Riot what the hell is up with that. I tried the same built with shaco and still lost. Your telling me that master yi is that special with attack speed and lifesteal. Guys please tell me how to beat that. I tried crit, tank and ap so please what can i do to kill this champ. Riot every time i write this its like it doesn't make sense because its not like your reading this anyway. Yi needs to be nerfed. he should be nerfed.

What i see master yi did was amazing but I think again i use the sentence I THINK he should be nerfed because even when we ganked him he still destroy us. I am human. No one follows only your opinion when it comes to balancing. They're tons of other people who has a lot easier time dealing Master Yi than you do. It's not that Master Yi is strong, you're just too stubborn-headed in wanting to learn counterplay.

Sure your whole team did ganked the guy, but did your team do it right? Did they learned how to ward bushes to stop Yi from early snowballing? Did your team managed to burst him down while Yi got CC'ed? Did you guys CC'ed him before Yi managed to uses Q? Pfft, why even bother asking these? You can't even give a two-bit shit of knowing what CC really means, cz this is something even a level 15 knows.

CC means Crowd Control. There's a large vocabulary for online gaming that I would recommend checking out.

That being said, CC him with a Stun, Root, Snare, Entangle, Trap, Knock-up, or anything that stops him dead in his tracks. He's immune to slows, so picking someone with a kit full of slows and no hard CC is asking for a bad time.

If he's building full damage, he doesn't have any form of staying alive longer than a split second. That's usually long enough to kill a player that is poorly positioned. He builds attack speed to synergize with his Passive and E, Life Steal is not changed by attack speed, only by how much damage dealt per attack. If he attacks 2 times per second with 1 AD, he's not healing for crap. If he attacks 0.25 times per second with 500 AD, he's going to heal a lot more.

I'm looking at your match history and I can't find a SINGLE game in which you bought a control ward or upgraded your FREE trinket. You also have a 949 MMR (bottom 13%) and this is where Master Yi thrives. He doesn't find his way into the competitive scene or high ELO too often as he is incredibly vulnerable. He's not the best jungler clearer without levels and items, and is useless when behind. Wards save lives, I would recommend increasing your warding game and making sure that you're safe - Yi literally does nothing but run at you and serves as a stat-check for most players, if he can't close the gap in time he's beyond useless.

As many other people have pointed out, hard CC ruins Yi's day hardcore.

He's a glass cannon DPS machine, and hard CC will stop that DPS no questions asked, so you explode his small HP pool. That being said, a Yi worth his salt will do his best to wait for the enemy team to use their CC before going in, so yeah, you need to be prepared but also don't assume Yi is beat just because you have CC.

If your team has no CC, you will very likely lose even if their team didn't have a Master Yi.
I put quote around my comments to make it sarcastic, saying the "CC 'till he dies" as a valid counterplay option often said by low ELO in response to a Diamond player.
"In some ELOs", yeah the 2 lowest ones since he's been nerfed right now.

Shaco is an early game champion, yi is late. Just because he beats you at level 18 doesn't mean he beats you at level 3. Invade, make his life hell for the first 20 mins. Kill his team mates, take towers, and NEVER let him go 20/7/10 in a 31 min game. He gets full build and is very strong and can only be beaten with CC.

I'm a Master Yi onetrick. You dont fight him 1 v 1 unless youre jax or tryndamere. He is meant to outduel virtually everyone in game. You chain cc and burst him down.

A full build Yi both onhit and Crit can approach 4000 dps with 20% of that as true damage.

Just use any cc champ and he can't get near you and be sure to poke, because his meditate doesn't give enough sustain end game and he has to hit stuff to get health. Plus I don't think you know the item 3074 item 3812 master yi Q E combo, you suck. Just sayin.

Everyone say use CC vs master yi but i need to say i play one game and i use stuns vs him but there was a little problem in early and mid game we kill him easily but in late game when he get all his items we start fighting with him 3 vs 1 and he do 3 kills we use everything and he was still alive so i need to say this pls nerf this shit. Versus low level players master yi kill everybody solo. Master Yi is ez champ for playing he is very uncomplicated champ everyone can play him. Good champs vs yi is jax rammus teemo but they do not appear too often. For example rammus i see him Once in fifty games or less. What if we play a normal game and we do not know against whom we fight hard to predict when it will come to us to measure with yi and I would like to notice that most killers can be killed without using cc Kayn Kha zix they are killers but you can kill them in battle without crowd controll i was fighting with the 1 vs 1 2 vs 1 and i was killing them but in late game i fight with yi and he kill more than half of our team just like that without problem.
