LoL isnt a TDM. Please stop playing it like one.

(TL;DR At the bottom Inb4 they call me salty) When a person teaches another person to play chess, they begin by teaching them how to win the game, and how the pieces move. Then they will provide basic ideas and strategy.

In League there is no such thing. The tutorial can create familiarity with the game but hardly teaches players anything.

Players in solo Q (and even often premades) take any sort of constructive criticism as an attack on them as a player. No matter how much you sugar coat it, no matter how much ass I kiss, if i try and teach someone why they should build a certain item and when, why they should be a certain place on the map at this time and why, its instantly disregarded and responded too with defensive aggression.

Another concept I think ALOT of players (like i mean an astounding number) don't understand is the game isn't about kills. going 20-2 doesn't mean anything if your nexus explodes, and going 2/20 doesn't mean that winning isn't possible.

I farmed really well and won my lane last game, Got top inhib turret around 23 minutes in after i solod the enemy top laner, the jungler, and the support. I then ask my team to 4 man top for the inhib while i split bot. What could be more easy then go get an open inhibitor while they send a bunch of people after me, and if they dont send them ill get more turrets? Instead of listning to me, explainign why they think my idea is bad, or suggesting an alternative they tell me to shut up, and find excuses as to why its my fault we arent winning.

My mid was 1/16, but i still could have carried him and the rest of them if they were willing to cooperate for the greater good, but everone has a selfish attitude that goes "ME ME ME" "I NEED GOLD, I NEED MY ITEMS". And while these are true statements, every match (especially one where you are playing poorly and a teammate of yours is performing quite well) is not about you and only you.

Im not the greatest player out there, I'm average at best. But just because im not diamond does not mean someone im playing with has nothing to learn from me, nor I from them.

Im not mad my team fed. Im not mad my team had poor cs. Im not mad my jungler couldn't control the dragon at all. Im not mad they may not understand that defending something doesn't mean starting an all in fight when they approach the turret. And im not mad morde was taking krugs while our inhib went down.

So why am I mad? Im mad that more often than not, my teammates are too immature to just get along and play the game that we all SUPPOSEDLY enjoy. Im mad that no matter how good my cs, no matter how good my score, no matter how much ive contributed to the team, everything I ask my team to do is ignored. Im mad that no matter how polite i am, asking for teamwork and cooperation gets me muted and reported. Im mad that people think they are stuck in "elo hell" when the only reason "elo hell" exists is because low tier players have bad attitudes and refuse to learn. Im mad because every time i bring things like this up people just flock to tell me how salty I am. Im mad because some human beings actually ENJOY causing others anger and frustration. Im mad because anytime I choose to play league when my friends aren't on, every match is 1v9. Im mad because such a beautiful and precise, well thought out game is ruined by children who approach it with a Call of Duty Team death Match mind set.

I envy pro teams. not entirely because of how masterful they are at the game, but because they have a team to play and grow with who will respond to they're criticism with an open mind and every match is played with everyone working together as much as possible.

So ill end with a question. Would a grandmaster of chess, or even an average competitive player continue to play the game if his pieces could move into danger and get taken on they're own or remove themselves from the board entirely?

TL;DR It doesn't matter if you lost lane, it doesn't matter if your creep score is bad. Offer knowledge to others and accept the knowledge they offer you, you dont know everything about this game and no one is perfect. Work together with your team, focus on where you need be, treat other players like you would if this game were played face to face and don't rage or afk.
