@Riot Is Yasuo's Windwall getting mini-nerfed at PBE? [Sincere question based on footage]

I've been watching RedMercy's Akali video and this thing happened -> 18:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTuaPrL_F3U Fizz ults into Yasuo's windwall. The shark doesn't disappear but stops there. Now:

Is this how it's been woring for some time and I am just living under the rock? Has this change been announced and I just missed it? Is it a bug? Or is it that Fizz ulted right in front of the windwall so it's just coincidence? There's high chance he just threw it in way he thought Yasuo might go by and I am overreacting, that's why I ask.

It looks like certain elements do not disappear but instead stop right beneath the windwall, so their path and range is blocked rather than effect. I'd swear I saw Katarina's dagger do the same thing in other segment of the video.

Am I just hallucinating or...?

EDIT: Okay so A was right, I didn't know that Fizz's ult has been working like this normally. Thanks all.

That spell was a mistake and should never have made it into the game anyways

Well I am not arguing against that, I am just sincerely curious whether it was coincidental placement of the ult or not. I don't have PBE myself so can't test it.

It always worked like that.

As for the Katarina interactions with the Windwall: Her Q dagger will disappear completely if the initial spell hits the Windwall. The dagger created by W won't because it isn't considered a projectile. It just drops in place.

thats how fizz ult interaction has been working on it like jayce shockblast doesnt dissapear from hitting it, it explodes against it

Windwall doesnt make every spell disappear, Jhin traps or Fizz ult for example just stop and fall to the ground if they hit it.

Fizz's fish stops by Windwall since release,nothing new.
