Best melee high attack speed based champ?
I'm trying to get a champ for either mid or top lane but the condition has to be the champ needs to be melee and is high attack speed based with 1.5 attack per second minimum late game.

with lethal tempo/attack speed rune. put in bloodrazor/red sunfire cape/thornmail now you have a rammus that fights like yi minus the alpha strike.

I mean that really narrows it down. Jax or Kayle if you consider her melee.
She is fun to play, melee and in late game I think she hits an attack speed of 1.8 if you get her bonus attack speed from E. Additionally has her Q as auto attack resets.
Nocturne top is viable and build flexible. Performs at an A+ tier level in lane phase. Good roam. Downside is that having a Nocturne top instead of a juggernaut, tank, or some kind of real engage, can hinder your team composition and cause team fighting to be difficult or impossible in the late game. But if you have a tank in the jungler, or a tank support, theres no reason you cant play Nocturne top.
Play Jax. His whole thing is attack speed.
