The game League of Legends is simple..and yet...
I have been playing since season 3 and have accounts from bronze-plat. I have seen it all and can honestly say that the same mistakes that are made in Bronze are also made in Platinum, but why? People make the game so much more complicated and harder than it has to be. The basic object of the game is to destroy objectives in order to down the Nexus and acquire buffs that will help make that process quicker. So for the people who do not understand this, let me drop some helpful tips that SHOULD help you from making stupid decisions that throw the game:
-
Jungling position IS NOT a free position for you to just run around the map for 20 minutes. A good jungler will have constant pressure on the map and should alleviate some pressure to your laners. There should be no reason you are running around the map 0/0/0 in the first 15 mins of the game, while also being outfarmed by the enemy jungler.
-
If you DON'T know why you are doing something, odds are you DON'T need to be doing it. If your lane is already pressured and the rest of your teammates are securing vision and playing around objective. There is no point of you running all the way back to a pressured lane and adding more stress to your team on securing objective. Particularly if you are already behind.
-
Always be open to adapting your play styles. If you are 0/6/0 DO NOT try to keep attempting to duel your laner or opponent. Instead focus your energy to last hitting, or roam to another lane and alleviate pressure or try to get a free kill. Maybe even take some enemy jungler camps or lay vision.
-
Ban champions that you personally feel like you can not deal with. Don't just ban a Yasuo or Zed because they're "broken." If you banned a champion and then go into game and get your poop pushed in by an enemy champ that you say "I always suck against." Then use your common sense and ban them.
-
Train yourself to watch map and listen to pings. If someone is spam pinging danger and their lane is MIA, it makes no sense for you to overextend with no vision is the surrounding areas.
-
Learn to take constructive criticism or helpful tips. Not everything you hear is "toxic." Learn to adapt, this leads back to point number 3. Adapt and change if it isnt working. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

I feel like this one is possibly the easiest and most important. If it doesnt make SENSE or is too RISKY, DON'T DO IT. Using a little bit of common sense goes a long way.
