I think today is finally the day i quit league

The game is just at a sorry state, ive been playing since season 4 and have had accounts from bronze all the way to plat.

  1. Its a team game that puts too much pressure on an individual because in solo-que there is rarely a "team" everyone is running around doing what they want and then either flame or troll.
  2. The balance team is a joke. Conqueror is ridiculously busted, god forbid you play anything outside of a bruiser, unless you play absurd champs like vlad, talon, wukong.
  3. The game is so damn snowbally, yoy can literally lose a game in the first 10 mins. The average game time now is about 25-30 which is also ridiculous. That literally destroys any hope of you being able to play a champ you enjoy , that scales.
  4. The community seems to lack basic common sense. The treat ranked games like its a COD deathmatch and just chases a kill, no one plays around objectives, or has any basic concept of champion select matchups.
  5. Out the dozens of champs available, literally only 10-15 are even relevent.
  6. Why the fck does ignite proc electrocute?

It is time to move on, i am sure i wont be missed, but i can assume others are leaving for similar reasons

Unless they're going to do something about systemic damage creep you're just replacing band aids on a bleeding artery. Individual champions are not the offenders, damage is rampant and some champs are just able to take advantage of that more than others, some in a very straight forward way others in less direct ways.

You can't wait for them to tune 100+ champions to the current game state. Just shave off the damage from runes.

I've been saying this SINCE NOVEMBER. You gutted defensive stats. You gave some champions a pittance back as recompense. This is why the games damage is so high. I have been downvoted for all the threads I make on this, but I still think I'm right.

Give champions the 9 armor and 12 magic that was basically universal from old runes, because champions for how many years had been tuned around those defensive stats existing in play testing and live servers, and then see how the game goes. You cannot remove what is 10-15% damge reduction in physical and magic damage and not expect things to get ridiculous, because let's face it the Resolve tree is a joke. Hell one of the Resolve tree runes is to do aoe magic damage ffs.

Boi im so happy im playing on shitty EUNE. We totally have almost none of those problems. People are nice. Everyone being pleasantly mildly toxic without people being a little bitches about it. People trying to play all kind of dumb shit cuz they are too wild to be bound by some shitty meta. "OP" picks dont mean shit cuz there is so many of them that you can fight fire with fire any day you want XD Surrender spamming afk sitting pussies are quite rare. Team can cooperate and from time to time shows nice faith in each other ^^ Ah damn its so nice to play on leagues worst server ^^

No. Im honestly describing my experience on EUNE. Probably im feeling this way cuz i actually played some other MOBAs and also played my share of MMO games, so i do have something to compare league with.

What are you talking about the community was dogshit all the way to challenger last 2 years in eune and it was still garbage when i left it when i was d4 after 40 games this year. I only have around 120games this year mostly low elo and mostly for money and i used to have aprox 500 by this time easily in every season on my personal account. I don't even have any time consuming work or w/e to justify me not playing hundreds of games even more so now that they last 20 mins unlike the old average game of 30-40 mins.

Also euw is just as garbage it just happens to have more players and be more popular due to lcs. I play on EUW whenever i play nowadays cause my eune acc decayed to i dont even know where left it 3 months ago.

It makes no sense that a league player's primary rank is determined by an environment with virtually no coordination, planning, or communication. It's literally 5 dudes trying to solo carry a game vs 5 other dudes trying to do the same thing. It would be like people trying to play a game of 5 on 5 basketball where literally nobody will pass the ball - how is that even remotely a test of how good each of those players would be on an organized team?

It's just nuts that Solo Q is the only primary way we can evaluate other players. And that evaluation is what's used when people try to put together a 5's team. It's crazy because when Clash goes live, the only way you can get on a team is if you have done well in a game mode that has almost nothing to do with 5v5 performance.

You might get a support that hogs kills, abandons his ADC vs a Thresh/Blitzcrank, etc. Or maybe instead hes a jungler that doens't give secured kills to a scaling solo laner and taxes the shit out of every lane. Those habits are not helpful to have in a 5v5 setting, yet those are the behaviors you have to develop in order to solo carry a game in Solo Q.

I mean he isn't wrong though. I feel like no matter what a company does people will still cry, because they don't understand that the company is not listening and will not listen... I used to be a toxic arsehole and then just realized it is not worth it to take League seriously. With the way the game is, combined with matchmaking being completely horrendous, to the fact that my gameplay very rarely matters in the game: we arrived at a state where taking the game seriously is just not worth it. I take Golf It more serious than I do League lmao. This game has just gone to crap, and that is fine, it is Riot's direction, it is what they want. What do they care that there is a vast majority of their community that dislikes it? They don't. I play to play with friends. You know I used to actually take this smurf seriously to get it into gold and get there fairly easily, I tried taking it seriously for a single game this season and I just rolled the game with no contest, but I didn't enjoy myself doing it, so now I just play everything I don't normally play and just do what I can.

This game lost its mojo in season 5 when it became apparent that the company didn't care about the community/playerbase. Nobody, and I mean nobody wanted that group of bruiser reworks, they did it anyways. Everyone complained about the fact they were overtuned, their reaction was to rework more things. Their priority has always been skins, and making money, as a business should be. But its a shame they used to be humble and used to listen. They are not either of these things anymore.

Don't cry about the game because they don't care. Just stop taking it seriously, troll pick in your games and try to make it work. The game is still fun if you are trying to have fun instead of just brainlessly grabbing a meta pick in a meta role with the same build you have been going every game.

So instead of voicing your concerns, or just leaving the game, Your solution is to troll and not take the game seriously they ruin the experience for other players around you, that makes sense. That is sarcasm by the way.

This doesn't sound so bad, current situation considered. It's actually 23-28 from Challenger to Bronze, with 25 at decent elos.

LoL, wasn't build as a fast-paced game. That's why it's immoral. I started before League turned from slow, strategic, and fun to fast, brain-dead, and stressful. What it is right now is lousy, lazy, and sad. The skin, champion, and design teams are still glorious. But the balance team needs to change, NOW!

I do prefer the strategic aspect as well. If I want fast paced competitive gaming I have thousands of FPS titles. This game and it’s sister games are for the nerdier pc crowd that takes pleasure in some depth and strategy imo.

uh...I took the liberty of averaging your last 20 summoner's rift games (not counting remakes) and your average game length is 28mins and 2.8 seconds

Of those last 20 games, you literally only had 2 that lasted more than 40mins while 8 was under 25mins...

How in gods name did you think your average game length was 40mins?

The second and third point, I agreed, all hearted, on. I have no problem with Assassins or one-shot champs, mostly because they can be countered mid to late. However, all the random "balance" changes, are fucking laughable. Instead of doing their job, they ruin it.

Shen, for some reason, needed a nerf, Vi needed a buff, and Talon can stay as is, even though Talon is complete free LP right now.

I see these little posts everywhere with EVERY game and company to exist. Star craft 2 forums; this balance team needs to get fired they dont know how to do theur job. Halo forums; this balance team has no idea what they are doing. Fire them!! Star craft forums; this balance team is ruining the franchise. How can they be so stupid!!!!!!!! Every game has people claiming the same thing you are. Just because its not in the direction YOU feel it should be doesnt mean they dont know what they are doing. This game isnt balanced just for you

The game isn't balanced at all and you would be a fool to think that it is.

The main problem is that Riot keeps releasing new champions every 3-4 months while older champions who are in a desperate need for a rework are put on the back burner. What does balance mean to me? It means that every champion should be viable and that isn't the case at all. Riot fixes the champions that they like, but does nothing do the champions they don't (case in point Mordekaiser, who has over 180 well documented bugs- who is coding this game, interns from the local high school?)

The second thing is that the development team keeps flip flopping and being hypocritical- first they don't like burst damage, then they like it and then they have made it absurd to where you can easily get one shotted- in the past they did not condone these gameplay mechanics. Then there was the tank meta where tanks would not only soak up damage, but they would deal out ridiculous amounts of damage and it was not unusual to find tanks such as Sion and Dr. Mundo on the top of damage leader boards. The whole purpose of a tank is to soak of damage and provide utility for the team, not to one shot squishies.

Riot also refuses to address serious issues like the toxicity of the community and smurf accounts- how is it fair for a Platinum player to be decimating people in ranked Bronze matches? Then there is the argument of well Riot can't do anything about this, and sure they can- make the game B2P. If the game actually cost something perhaps that would deter people from creating multiple accounts- every time you want to make a new account you have to rebuy the game.

However, the biggest problem is that Riot doesn't seem to ever be satisfied with the game- they need to have a clear end date to where they will no longer release champions, but the problem is that they are now all about the money and they don't care how screwed up the game is, just as long as they can release a new champion where they can sell a bunch of new skins at a premium price.

These are all serious issues and concerns, but Riot downright refuses to acknowledge them.

i didnt say the game was balanced. what I'm saying is there are fans from multiple games saying their respective company is "failing" at overall balance. and if you think this non stop release of champs and this non existent end date is a recent thing YOU m friend are delusional. there is NO end game for league. EVER. they will release new champs and change the game for the next 10 years IF people pay them. there is no magical end state riot is trying to get to, open your eyes. they will keep changing the game for simply the sake of change. again if you believe there is, or that riot is even pursuing, a mystical 100% balanced game you are in for a rude awakening. a company is created to make money, they will do things to make money.

there's a youtuber I watch who made a video. he's "the act man" he did a video called "what really happened to league of legends" go watch it. I know the game is not balanced 100% but guess what I enjoy it. I personally accept that the game will keep changing for years and I accept that. I know there is a possibily that something will be changed that I wont like (scuttle patch) I will voive my opinions ONCE and guess what i'll do next; accept it. if you cant thats not a bad thing just move on. in the end if riot wants to change something that is their call. not yours

Yah i don't understand why people cry either. There is no meta. People pick things that were fine before like wu for instance hasnt changed in how long abd such but alll of a sudden he is meta lol. Take ez for instance his q procs ludens like it used to when then made runic echo....that was "meta" . then riot nerfed it then hiddenly buffed him to make it proc it yet people will build 2 tears instead of getting ludens and doing more damage. There is no meta case number 3. On my ult account i was dping malz supp right after they reworked him into the banshees veil passive i was called a troll lol then someone in lcs does it and all of a sudden its viable lol. Also all i ever built on varus was onhit rage blade i was called a troll lol then all of a sudden its meta. Fyi nothing changed on varus nor rageblade soooo yah. I can keep going

Wanna join me in Battlerite? Thats what i've been on since i quit 2 or 3 days ago. The only reason i still played this shit is becasue it was the only game my pc could handle but now i have a new one B)

I like tear mages a lot, but at the current speed of the game, i can never get my scale going. Also, im done playing against the same shit. No originality whatsoever. Im done with these edgy bois Zed Fizz Talon Yasuo

Battlerite is actually pretty damn good. It does get stale pretty quickly, but I've heard they're working on some new exciting stuff to make it less repetitive.

Yeah i used to find it kinda stale too, but it grew on me. The game is a lot different than most i've played, and i really didnt like it because i didnt feel i had inpact in the games. (i mostly tried to play askha and ezmo, but the garen equivalent would always come and get me). And then i found IVA. She's fun because she is long range and also has self peel :) you just need to find what fits you the most
