@RIOT What are your plans about Syndra ?

It's sad that you're worrying so much about Zed (a moderate nerf) or any other of the midlaners, but not Syndra, while she hasnt been viable for one year !

I don't know if for you she's balanced, but for me Syndra's MYMU changes were nerfs to her. She's squichy, she needs to take risks (more than planty of mages) to get a kill or stun well in fights. She's easily countered by zhonia anyway, now that all her burst is on her ult.

Or i don't know if you're just ignoring this champ juste because it would require so much work to balance ?

Please, clarify the direction you want to take, because we're all confused (at least Syndra's mains).

Syndra is not liked by riot compared to Ahri/ Zed/Jinx and Co due to Riot doesn't play her often. She is put in the corner, that's all. Furthermore, Syndra doesn't make enough money for Riot to get some buff or skins. Why would I buff syndra if I could buff Ahri and sell ton of skins? "Favoritism" is the word which describe this situation.

Then, Syndra require so much work to balance her due to "Spaghetti code".

Moreover, Riot failed when they updated Syndra's kit, they betrayed their promise in adding only more balls on the field. So, I made a passive update for Syndra, numbers have to be tweaked/ balanced but I think that could be a good direction for her.

Q: Dark Sphere Cost: 50/55/60/70/80Mana Range: 800 Syndra conjures a Dark Sphere dealing magic damage. The sphere remains and can be manipulated by her other powers. Conjures a Dark Sphere dealing 65/110/155/190/210 (+65% Ability Power) magic damage. The sphere remains for 5/5.5/6/7/8 seconds and can be manipulated by Syndra's other abilities. This spell can be cast while moving.

  • Transcendance: Rank 1-5: Spheres deal damage 2/5/7/15/30 (+0%), reduce magic resistance by 3% and slow down ennemies by 3% around the field every second (8 stack max by champions) ( Sphere Range: 70/80/90/100/110) (Halo around spheres will be added.) Rank 5: When a sphere disappears, it detonates and deals damage for 20% (+0%) of the initial spell._

W: Force of Will Cost: 60/65/70/80/90 Mana Range: 1000 Syndra picks up and throws a Dark Sphere or enemy minion dealing magic damage and slowing the Movement Speed of enemies. First Cast: Grabs target Dark Sphere or enemy minion. If no target is selected, grabs nearest Dark Sphere. Second Cast: Throws the Dark Sphere or enemy minion. Enemies hit take 80/120/150/180/230 (+70% Ability Power) magic damage and are slowed by 25/30/35/40/45% for 1.5 seconds. This spell can be cast while moving.

  • Transcendance: Rank 1-5: Sphere attract when hit the ground. Only for W (Attract area could be seen before sphere hit the ground) Rank 5: When syndra select herself, she takes flight and her power become unstable. Syndra is root and reveal her position for casting this spell (For 5 sec max)

  • - Q: Dark sphere: Syndra unleashes a dark sphere, creating shockwave that travels out among the enemies dealing 40 (+5% Ability power) magic damage (1 sec CDR).

  • - E: Scatter the weak: Syndra now can charge her spell in long range.

  • - R: Unleashed power: Syndra can bombard an area in long range.

E: Scatter the Weak Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana Range: 600 Syndra knocks enemies and Dark Spheres back dealing magic damage. Enemies hit by Dark Spheres become stunned. Knocks enemies and Dark Spheres back dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage to them and any enemies they collide with. Dark Spheres that are knocked back stun all enemies in their path for 1.5 seconds.

  • Transcendance: Rank 1-5: Syndra increased her power in killing enemies. Every spells except "unleashed power" earn 0,5% ability power contribution by 10 minions killed, earn 1% by champions and epic monster killed. Rank 5: Spell width increased by 100%. Syndra can "Attract the stong" in recalling spheres to her. Spheres whish collide with ennemies are drag away on 70 (min range = 700) to 200 (max range=1100). Speed: 1100

R: Unleashed Power Cost: 100 Mana Range: 700 Syndra bombards an enemy Champion with all of her Dark Spheres. Draws upon Syndra's full cataclysmic power, harnessing all Dark Spheres to deal magic damage to target enemy Champion. Unleashed Power manipulates the three Dark Spheres orbiting Syndra, in addition to Dark Spheres previously created. Damage per sphere: 90/120/150(+40% Ability Power). Minimum total damage: 270/390/480 (+55% Ability Power).

  • Transcendance: Rank 1-3: Each spheres on the ground increase spells' damage by 0,5%/1%/2% hp max in magic damage Rank 3: Spheres falling on the ground deal damage in using ultimate. (Area impact will be added for counter play)

She ruined their poster child LB for about a patch or two. Kinda sad how they ruined her lane power, and her old stun (E). For someone that is suppose to be a early-mid game lane bully she really can't keep up with anyone these days. Now itemization is against her, and so is the top lane/ jungle meta. They seriously need to rebuff her Q again and they need to let her Ult stack up past i think its 6 balls. Maybe make it 7-8 but reduce ap added to each ball.

she still has a lot of AOE damage and is still viable, just fairly weak

wish they would refund ult CD partially on cancellation
