The new lux skin has invisible powers

I'm not sure why it's any different than the old lux skin, but on top of the powers being extremely translucent in a literal sense, there were several times in the last game where I took an enormous amount of damage without ever seeing a visual. No lux on the screen, no power effect, just poof, no more brand. Very annoying and unfair.
